Climate change DAVAO City – Dr. Michael Aragon, founding chair of the Clean Air Philippines Movement, Inc. asked world leaders to immediately address global warming and climate change. During the launch of the Clean Air Month this November 2017, Aragon said that the Philippines, although considered as the least contributing nation to the carbon footprint off the entire world, remains vulnerable to the effects of climate change. Aragon further said that the visit of world leaders to the Philippines for the ASEAN Summit on November 10 to 14, is an opportunity to urge the world leaders to address such issue. At the same time, he noted that the air in Davao City is clean, based on a nationwide survey conducted by the Ambient Air Quality in urban centers in the country.
