ALAYBALAY City, Bukidnon —To protect the public against unreasonable risks of injury associated with consumer goods, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted recently a ‘Consumers Protection Forum’ participated by managers and operators of shopping centers and malls, here. Engr. Eric H. Bicar, consumer welfare division chief and product standards officer of DTI Region 10, enjoined business establishments in Bukidnon to abide by the Products Standard Law to assure the public of safety and quality of consumer products. “DTI’s monitoring team will strictly implement the said law, especially this yuletide season, to assure the public of the consistency of standardized products,” he said.
