Camiguin PWDs see hope in DOLE’s livelihood program Volume III, No. 146

ATARMAN, Camiguin - Atleast, 22 Persons with Disability (PWDs) in the Province of Camiguin were recipients of a livelihood assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment-X’s (DOLE10) Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP). ed and conducted a provincial livelihood monitoring activity headed by DOLE chief LEO Errol Natividad and staff Reymark O. Hondanero, Esteven Jhay S. Agbu, Jovelyn V. Perez and Glenford C. Labial on October 21, 2014. Among the visited projects was the mini grocery of the PWDs located at Poblacion, Catarman. With the presence of Axel M. tivity easier for the team. The activity counterchecked its full operation on their approved DILEEP looking primarily its sustained operation. DILEEP is the department’s contribution to the government’s agenda of inclusive growth through massive job generation and poverty reduction by giving employment opportunities and livelihood undertakings to the disadvantaged workers and beneficiaries from informal sectors.
