Briefly Farmers festival TAGUM City -- Tagum City opened this morning the firstever UGMAD Festival which brings together farmers of various crops in the city. Ta g u m C i t y M a y o r Allan Rellon explained the festival as the city’s way of observing Farmers Month, g i v i n g re c o g n i t i o n to a l l farmers whatever they may be producing, without giving any preference to any crop. An acronym which means Uma Gamito n M ag - uuma Dayegon (Let’s Use the Farm; Praise the Farmers), UGMAD Festival has integrated the Durian Festival which was previously celebrated in Tagum City.
