Emano’s widow complains of rival using her husband’s name in campaigning TAGOLOAN, Misamis Oriental––The political rivalry for nayoralty position between Heckert Emano and his aunt Dra.Serina Emano heats up after Heckert used the image of her deceased husband, Mayor Paulino “Oloy”Emano, for his political gain. Mayor Oloy passed away due to an illness on January 13, 2016. Being on his last term as mayor, Mayor
Oloy filed his certificate of candidacy for vice mayor. Meanwhile, Dra.Serina, his legitimate wife, sought her husband’s blessing to run as mayor in the same municipality, which he willingly gave. Forty days after the death of Oloy, his immediate family awaited for a move from PaDayon Pilipino(PdP),, Heckert’s political party headed by former Cagayan
de Oro City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy”Emano and Incumbent Governor Bambi Emano of Misamis Oriental to install Richard, son of Mayor Oloy,to replace his deceased father in the vice mayoralty candidate of the party and for Dra. Serina to withdraw her candidacy as Mayor. It would have been a good move for PaDayon Pilipino(PdP) to infuse See WIDOW, page A11
