Duterte to CPP-NDF: ‘Release all prisoners’ By GERRY LEE GORIT, Correspondent

AGAYAN de Oro City--President Rodrigo Duterte has set the conditions for the peace talks with the Communist Party of the PhilippinesNational Democratic Front (CPP-NDF) to prosper, among them the release of all prisoners of war (POWs). The list of conditions include ceasefire agreement in place, no extortion or collection of revolutionary taxes, no territorial claim in any part of the Philippines, and for the communist rebels to release all prisoners. “Release all prisoners whether police (officers), military (personnel) or civilians or government employees. Pag wala ‘yan, walang peace talks (if that is not included, there is no peace talks),” Duterte said

Anti-rebel ops to continue until signing of joint ceasefire 32 soldiers wounded
Z AMB OANGA City–– Thirty-two soldiers were wounded as the military operation against a subleader of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) entered its second day on Monday in Sulu province, officials said.
