CAGAYAN de Oro City--THE Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) is wooing Oro Chamber to be one of the local partners of a grant by a consortium of seven German-affiliated entities who are funding tech-voc trainings nationwide.
PCCI representative Antonio L. Sayo echoed this call during the 2016 first quarter meeting of Oro Chamber last Thursday at Limketkai Luxe Hotel. 150 city scholars to graduate this year By CRIS DIAZ Executive Editor
CAGAYAN de Oro City--A total of 150, of the 568 city sponsored scholars, would graduate this school year 2015-2016, the city’s committee on education said. City Councilor Adrian Barba, chair of the city council committee on education, said that four of the city scholars would graduate as “cum laude” in their chosen profession. He said that the city sponsored scholars studied their choice of profession in any of the 10 universities and colleges in the city with Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) TVET committee chair Antonio full tuition paid by the city L. He said that the incumbency of former city Mayor Vicente Emano established the city scholarship program to provide an opportunity to poor, but deserving students to pursue their college education.
