Virgin Atlantic at Terminal 2 – What You Need to Know
Terminal 2 at LAX, often referred to as the “Delta Terminal,” is home to a number of international and domestic carriers, including Virgin Atlantic. This terminal has undergone significant upgrades in recent years, enhancing both functionality and passenger comfort.
Check-in Process:
Passengers flying with Virgin Atlantic should head straight to Terminal 2 for check-in. The airline recommends arriving at least three hours before your flight's departure time, especially if you're flying internationally. Virgin Atlantic check-in desks typically open four hours prior to scheduled departure and close one hour before the flight.
Security and Boarding:
After check-in, you'll proceed through TSA security. Terminal 2 is generally e cient, but delays can occur during peak hours. Once you're through, you'll find a variety of gate lounges, eateries, and shops to explore while you wait for boarding.
Flight Departures and Arrivals:
Virgin Atlantic operates long-haul international routes from LAX, primarily to the UK, with London Heathrow (LHR) being its most popular destination. All departures and arrivals for Virgin Atlantic take place at Terminal 2 unless otherwise noted on your ticket or by the airline.
Lounge Access and Terminal Connections
Upper Class Lounge Access:
Passengers flying Virgin Atlantic Upper Class, as well as Flying Club Gold members and Delta SkyMiles Diamond Medallion holders, have access to premium lounges. Although Virgin Atlantic does not operate its own lounge at LAX, eligible travelers are invited to use the Star Alliance Lounge located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal (Terminal B)
How to Get to Terminal B from Terminal 2:
Thanks to a secure airside corridor, passengers can walk between Terminal 2 and Terminal B without leaving the secure zone or passing through TSA again. It’s a short walk (about 10–15
