As we enter the 13th year of the renowned Miss International Queen pageant, I am delighted to be associated with our ever-growing audience, respected partners, true friends and honored guests. I have always believed that one should be proud of oneself, one’s identity, one’s true self. Tiffany’s Show is a platform that allows a person to express their inner self and for the past 40 years, we have worked very hard to portray this concept globally. Today, as I realize that the world has become a more accepting place, a beautiful stage for people to embrace their true self, I am indeed proud and thrilled that our efforts have contributed towards a betterment of the transgender community. The core values of Tiffany’s Show and Miss International Queen is to help make our performers, contestants and everyone in this community realize their true worth, value their self-esteem and appreciate and uplift each other as we gradually grow towards attaining ‘World Equality’. It is of utmost importance that we cherish and inspire one another regardless of our differences in race, religion, background, skin color or gender. We all share the same basic values and that is ‘equality and dignity for all human beings’. Since the inception of Tiffany’s Show
and the Miss International Queen Pageant, we have come a long way with our successes and achieved International standards. I’m sure that the contestants this year will uphold their achievements, their social responsibilities and make themselves proud in all walks of life. On behalf of Tiffany’s Show and our management, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to all our sponsors for their continuous support towards our events. Being True to Yourself and Express Your True Identity Your true identity consists of your beliefs, your personal values, your unwavering principles and your senses of morality and ethics. Once you are aware of your true identity, you should live a life of being yourself with integrity, honesty, sincerity and authenticity. To be happy and feel peaceful in your mind, you should be positive about who you are. As being true to yourself is a good thing, you have to learn how to be able to be true to yourself. Firstly, you have to know who you are and accept yourself with esteem. Secondly, you have to know your strengths and be proud of them. Thirdly, you have to also know your weaknesses and shortcomings, and if possible, you should try to find a remedy to cure them. Fourthly, you have to know the purposes of your life. Finally, you must be able to define a total concept of being “you”. It’s your own choice whether you want to live a life of your true identity or not. You should be reminded that being true to yourself is a healthy and happy living. An important point is when you are happy with your true identity, you should not care what people think of you. You live a life of your true identity in a natural manner and your principles
of living are not to be for any compromise. You are self-directed, not other directed and you are proud of being you, regardless of what other people think of you. Nonetheless, you must be sure that anything about being you is moral, legal, ethical and enchanting among people who are significant others in your life.

This year for MISS INTERNATIONAL QUEEN 2018 we proudly present the well known Thai legend,
THE LEGEND OF THE ROSE
An old tale passed down through the generations. The original legend has a sad ending but thinking positively we twisted the story to have a happy ending. It tells the story of a heavenly maiden who scorns her Princely heavenly lover's advances. He banishes her to earth in the form of a Rose , never to return to paradise until she finds an
earthly Prince. Then she may ascend into paradise again and dance among the Angels. Lyrically I tried to write it in a contemporary way so that it would appeal to both our Thai and International Guests. Khun George composed the music in a modern Thai style to marry the two elements together. The Costumes were designed by the very well known Thai fashion designer Prapakas. Everyone has a perception of what
paradise is supposed to look like? I designed the set after an inspiring visit to What Rung Khun in Chiang Mai a few years ago. So pure and white Thai Style yet so elaborate in its design and carving. So Magical and Etherial. To me, this is what Thai Paradise should look like. I came up with the idea of backing the whole carved foam set with an edging of mirror with blue LED lights in between to give it that magical etherial mysterious heavenly l look.The set is split with a huge platform 3.5 meters above the existing stage floor, to give an Idea of Paradise and earth.Lots of mist and fog and other clever lighting finishes the picture. THE EYE OF TIME
The Eye of Time is watching, Every minute of the day.
And so the words go for our new opening song for Miss International Queen 2018 About 40 years ago on a visit to Paris, I was lucky enough to catch an exhibition by that wonderful Surrealist Impressionist Artist Salvador Dali.
I was extremely taken by a piece of Jewellery that he had designed and named, "The Eye of Time" It was a jeweled Eye and the Iris was an old period style clock face.I actually bought a replica of it and still have today. I knew one day I would use the Idea and so finally that day has come. I decided to write the lyrics for a song. "The Eye of Time." The lyrics tell us that The Eye of Time and in particular TIME is watching and with us every moment of our waking and sleeping hours. We cannot get away from it. We cannot change it. We cannot challenge it.
It is watching every little thing we do. Our progress in life, Our attitude to others. Our progress in Equality, our progress in peace and trying to make the world a better place for all to live in harmony no matter what color, creed or preference. Time is eternal, but we are not. The time is now. The place is now. Do good unto each other, respect, accept and be sincere. Learn to live and love with tolerance, But never, never fear. life is full of diversity and takes a lot to understand, But the Eye of Time is watching, to lend a helping hand.
