TIMECHAIN COLLECTIBLES

Series 1 "Timepieces" of the Timechain Collection is a limited run of 21 original pieces of artwork depicting timepieces - antique pocket watches, cyberpunk clocks, ancient calendar stones and other timekeeping devices imagined from times past, present and future foretelling or proclaiming Bitcoin as the heartbeat of civilization. The AI generated art was engineered using the story of the Timekeepers, a mysterious group of shadowy figures from ancient times through future post-hyperbitcoinization, whose secret oath is to instantiate, cultivate and champion the timechain. The theme for this series was inspired by @Dergigi's Bitcoin is Time article. This is a low time preference Bitcoinonly project (not minted on other chains) recognizing the high pedigree of inscriptions relative to other NFT platforms.

“The owners of these timepieces, the Timekeepers, have sworn an oath to shepherd the timechain into existence, then to glory. Scribes, philosophers, mathematicians, hackers, memelords and cypherpunks throughout the ages have filled their ranks. Identities unknown, they are ghosts of the timechain, leaving behind only their timepieces when their service is complete.”
“A weathered calendar stone amidst the ruins of an ancient civilization foretells the coming of the timechain. How did it get there? And who was the mysterious group known as the timekeepers? #12 of 21, inscription #359, 1 of 3 calendar stone.”
“The year is 2029. Governments on the verge of financial collapse have banned Bitcoin in a last desperate attempt to retain control. The Timekeepers have gone underground to defend the timechain by running nodes on mesh networks, deploying micro asics and transacting p2p.”
“It’s been 20 years since nationstate attacks on Bitcoin ceased. The Timekeepers, upholding their oath over millennia, withstood. Their victory, not by violence, rather by defending the timechain - a free and open public ledger of immutable truth.”
“All that remains when a Timekeeper's work is complete, they vanish without a trace, leaving behind only their timepiece and it's secrets for the next generation.”
