Burnt Ends Kitchen & Bar is the newest dining retailer at The Barracks. Their Head Chef, Grant Farraway is all about clever and unique cooking.

Describe the feel and flavours at Burnt Ends Kitchen & Bar?

We’re delivering a relaxed dining atmosphere that allows the food to speak for itself. Simply presented food, cooked over coals, in order to create unique flavours.

You cook with a state of the art coal-fired oven. Tell us about this method?

Almost all of our menu is cooked over coal. From the rotisserie, large char grill, the yakitori style grill and the Mibrasa coal oven. This style helps to impart the charcoal flavours into our dishes, creating the unique flavours.

You have a fantastic cocktail menu. What’s the one cocktail people need to try?

The Char-me. A delicious blend of in-house charred pineapple and plantation rum.
