An enchanting cosy winter oasis awaits at Lina Rooftop, the ultimate sky bar in Brisbane.

When you think of a cosy winter oasis, a trendy rooftop bar in the heart of the city may not first come to mind, but South Brisbane’s Lina Rooftop has completely transformed into a chic winter wonderland.

Picture custom-made private igloos fitted out with soft, plush throws and cushions, falling snow, sweet and savoury fondue boards paired with spiced mulled wine (more on this below), DJs and live entertainment, and mesmerising icicle light shows. Lina Rooftop has also swapped out their usual comfy day beds for stylish fire pits and log holders – like we said, they have completely transformed the space!

The igloos in question can fit up to six guests and are fitted with a heater, mini bar, and twinkling fairy lights, making this a seriously toasty vibe!

Our favourite part of the activation? The food, of course! The team at Lina are offering two delicious packages: Igloo Fondue Package ($79pp) and Igloo Wonderland Package ($99). Here’s a breakdown on both…

If you can’t decide between a sweet or savoury board, the Igloo Fondue Package comes with both a chocolate fondue set (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, marshmallows, apple, white chocolate, dark chocolate, and brioche) and a cheese fondue set (crusty baguette, rosemary and garlic roasted chats, selection of cured meats, gherkins, on vine cherry tomato, porcini and truffle arancini) with delicious mulled wine.

While the Igloo Wonderland Package swaps out the cheese fondue set for a fancy French platter, which consists of garlic and rosemary roasted potatoes, gherkins, selections of cured meats, Swiss brown mushrooms, and melted raclettes, and comes with the option of either mulled wine or a glass of bubbles (and yes, the chocolate fondue set is also included). The Lina team will also be adding winter warmer favourites like delicious eggnog to their menus. With Brisbane’s most iconic rooftop views, comforting food, and a cosy atmosphere, this is one winter experience worth getting warmed up for.

Once reserved for the Gold Coast, California Tacos has extended its Baja-inspired reach to Brisbane, bringing with it Australia’s largest plate of nachos weighing almost 1kg. The macho nachos are joined by loaded tacos, burritos, and Cali plates, as well as cheeky margs poured shaken or frozen. Best enjoyed in the Margarita Garden on the back deck, the laid-back vibes are on high here.
