EDITOR’S NOTE

Hello and happy birthday to us –wow, where have the last 22 years gone? It’s been one wild ride with its fair share of ups, downs, changes, innovation, and dare I say it, pivots. Paul and I would like to say thank you to our wonderful team, readers, and advertisers. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you all!

It’s that time of the year again, we’re at the halfway point and everything is happening, there’s photoshoots galore and creative campaigns coming from every possible angle –I honestly think the years just keeping getting faster and faster. The good thing is, and I’ve said this before, no day is the same and that’s what keeps us on our toes.

Anyways, let’s get into our fabulous Birthday Issue… on the cover, we feature Nicholas Stankiewicz from NS Properties Brisbane, Lina Rooftop Bar (now that’s a view!), and Edward Street Brisbane – what a wonderful collaboration!

Inside, we chat to Jared Webb from awardwinning interior design practice, J.AR Office, Darvella Patisserie’s head chef (and get the lowdown on how to decorate a cake like a pro), and shine a spotlight on Brisbane Fashion Festival – we spoke to three of the designers behind the show and it’s shaping up to be an exciting week!
