Every child needs to play. That’s why we’ve built two new playgrounds in collaboration with Touched by Olivia.

MAESTRE Stockland Ambassador and celebrity chef Miguel Maestre knows a thing or two about food.

Dive into an amazing array of flavours with these recipes that are sure to excite your tastebuds.

THE ONE AND ONLY MIGUEL MAESTRE WILL BE IN CENTRE ON SATURDAY 30TH JUNE COOKING THREE OF HIS WINTER FAVOURITES.

Corn and Zucchini Fritters To make the batter, add one and a half cups of flour with 50g of parmesan cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper. Combine a cup of milk, two eggs and chopped chives, whisking thoroughly before combining the flour mixture. Grate the corn from two cobs into a bowl and mix well. Use a mandolin to cut a zucchini into thin strips. Coat a small handful of zucchini in the batter and pan fry on a medium heat until golden brown. Spoon chutney on a plate, plating up the fritters alongside grilled halloumi and rocket.

Churros Con Chocolate Bring one cup of milk to the boil with a teaspoon of caster sugar, 50g butter, two vanilla beans. One at a time, add three egg yolks and mix well. Spoon the dough into a piping bag fitted with a number 9 star nozzle. Heat oil to 180°C and pipe 5cm lengths of batter into the oil, cutting the dough with a sharp knife. Deep fry churros until they’re golden brown before draining on absorbent paper. To make chocolate sauce for serving, bring 150mL of milk to the boil before pouring into a bowl with 200g of finely chopped chocolate.

FLATBREAD WITH JAMON Y QUESO SERVES 4 TIME NEEDED: 30 MINUTES INGREDIENTS: 550g self raising flour 1 tbsp maldon salt 1 tsp baking powder 500g natural greek yoghurt pinch paprika

1 zest lemon 100g manchego, grated (or any local hard cheese) 50g manchego, thickly shaved 100g jamon Serrano, thinly sliced, torn apart (or any local prosciutto) ¼ bunch thyme leaves only 1 cup beetroot purée (see website for method)

LENARD’S CHICKEN

METHOD: Mix flour, salt, baking powder, yogurt, paprika, lemon zest, grated manchego and one cup beetroot purée in a food processor and mix until combined.

Fold in shaved manchego, jamon and thyme. Knead for two minutes onto a floured surface. Cut dough into 10 small pieces, roll out into 10 thin circles.

Grill on BBQ hot plate. Top flatbread with jamon, tomatoes and manchego cheese.
