Of course the high-end fashion stores. No longer do you have to book a flight to access the best luxury brands. We can now buy what we want, when we want it.
FAVE BRAND AT PACIFIC FAIR?
Too many … leopard print, sequins, glittery lurex, OTT earrings and anything pointing to the Eighties from Harrolds. I find a quieter, but no less arresting appeal from Hugo Boss. Of course there’s David Jones, Dion Lee, Jan Logan, Ginger & Smart – oh, I could go on for days!
BEST PLACE FOR A QUICK BITE?
I can’t go past the Fresh Food Market for quick, smart yummies!

I’m in love with The Resort, which provides a base to the perfect Queensland shopping experience. It’s so fresh and modern and makes me feel like I’m shopping in a futuristic heaven!
The design of the new Pacific Fair, including the wide aisle and luxury furnishings make for such an enjoyable shopping experience, let alone the store mix!
FAVE BRAND AT PACIFIC FAIR?
This is like asking who your favourite parent is! I am in love with what Gucci is doing this season, from head to toe.
Harrolds has the ultimate brand range and clothing in Queensland. Prada shoes are a must. The Hugo Boss store is so fresh and great for suiting. Hermès is great for a little treat.
BEST PLACE FOR A LONG LUNCH?
I love a long lunch, in between shopping, at Aquitaine where you can have great share plates and a glass of wine in the beautiful surrounds of The Resort.
My other favourite, for what could be one of the tastiest yum chas in Queensland, is Yum Cha Cuisine. Best of all, you can dine any time of day.
REASON TO MAKE THE DRIVE TO PACIFIC FAIR?
I feel like going to Pacific Fair is a mini getaway for me. Whether it is for a couple of hours, or I’m lucky enough to stay the night. Each time I go to Pacific Fair, I get the feeling I’m on holidays!
I love the great mix of relaxing open spaces in the centre, the up-to-the-minute fashion from Australia and around the world. The fact I can go for a quick swim after a day of shopping makes me feel so relaxed!
SOMETHING YOU WERE NOT EXPECTING ABOUT THE CENTRE?
I didn’t expect the great range of stores, particularly firsttimers to Queensland. Plus, it does always surprise me how quickly you can get to Pacific Fair from Brisbane.
