cream works perfectly and it won’t harm your clothing and best of all, you won’t have to take the time to change before you leave.
3) STOP EYE CONCEALER CREASING
1) KEEP LIPSTICK OFF YOUR TEETH
We all have had our favorite lipstick smudge and just not look as great at the end of the day, so remedy this problem with a tissue and a bit of translucent powder. After you have applied your chosen lip color, just hold a tissue over your lips lightly and dust a small amount of translucent powder over the tissue. This will set the lipstick to make it lasts longer.
Concealer is great for hiding those under eye circles but it tends to crease, particularly if you have a few wrinkles... ugh. To keep it from doing this, begin by applying a
2) REMOVE MAKE UP OFF YOUR COLLAR Ever rush to get ready in the morning and you accidentally get makeup on your shirt collar? As most of us ladies know, foundation is a beast to remove. Just add a bit of shaving cream and wipe that makeup away with a damp cloth. The shaving

light primer to the area before you add concealer. Be sure that you add concealer with a beauty blending sponge and dab softly to create fewer lines. Then just add powder and you should have a smooth finish without the creases.
cover it up with concealer.
5) PLUMP UP THOSE LIPS
You can create a full, fake pout without makeup or surgery just by using a little peppermint oil. The peppermint helps to stimulate the circulation under the lips and creates a “swelling” effect, thus making your lips appear fuller! Grab a Qtip and dab 1 to 2 drops of peppermint oil on it and rub across your lips. You can also add the oil to your favorite lip gloss! Get our fabulous recipe on page 13. TIP: Peppermint oil, also, helps relieve head and neck tension. Apply a small amount of oil to the neck and head as soon as tension occurs.
6) APPLY LASH GLUE PERFECTLY
4) GET RID OF THOSE STUBBORN PIMPLES Don’t you hate when you get that zit that pops up right before a special event? Dab it with Visine to tone down redness of the pimple. Just soak a cotton ball in it and then hold it on your zit for a few minutes. The redness and puffiness will go away for a few hours and you can
Take the bulbous end of a bobby pin and drop a dab of eyelash glue on it. Use the bobby pin to lightly coat the lash strip in glue. Wait for five to ten seconds to let it firm up just a bit. Now, use tweezers to carefully “drop” the lash strip directly on top of your lash line. Press it on gently as it dries all the way. NOTE: If you need to apply more glue on your lash after it has been applied, just use the same tip of the bobby bin to fill in the sparse areas. No need to remove the lash.

White Is The New Black A Trend Not Just For Clothes Anymore Erin McCaffey
W
hite is the hottest color trend this year in makeup despite the lack of the color… ironic, huh? It’s not only simple, but tres chic and versatile. International makeup brands, such as YSL and MAC, have already stocked their shelves with the up-to-the-minute white products. WHITE EYELINER This look was a famous beauty statement in the ‘90s and now it’s back. You can keep the white as a cool neutral by applying the liner to the waterline to make your eyes pop. To be a little more daring, amp it up by combining white eyeliner with a metallic pink or orange eyeshadow on the upper lid. For a youthful vibe, smudge a bit of it in the inner corner of your eyes. TIP: It's really important that your lines are clear and sharp. If you have slightly shaky hands, I recommend trying an angled synthetic brush, making it easier to build up for a smooth finish. WHITE EYESHADOW We predict by the end of the Summer, you'll be wearing this bold color across your lids with ultimate confidence.

You can brush the shadow over your entire eyelid or a touch of white in the inner lids using a base shadow brush. Then get hold of a smokey colored shadow and apply it into your eye crease with an eye brush. Further, in order to enhance the look, apply a black eye liner and mascara. WHITE NAILPOLISH Wear it or flaunt it, nail polish enhances the beauty of your nails like none other. Moreover, it casts an all new cool impression about you. Swipe a pearly white on your finger nails to get across a classic and nail-biting look. WHITE LIP Feel nouveau and try white gloss on your lips. The good thing about it is that it reflects light and creates a stunning look over the natural color of your lips. Just layer the sheer white lip gloss on your lips to get a barely-there color. However you wear this fierce color, make sure the other make up is complementary and minimal to keep it posh and not like a Halloween costume. It is a bright shade so less is more to pull this revolutionary look. Go wild on the runways and red carpet events with this hot trend. www.styleandglam.com

Peppermint Oil Lip Balm Heather Pollen
T
his homemade lip balm is moisturizing, fresh and definitely has a delicious smell. Although peppermint oil is an essential oil, make sure it doesn’t irritate the skin, so it is best to test it first on a small area of skin. Even if you have no problem with peppermint oil, you don’t want to overuse it. A couple of drops as indicated in the recipe is more than enough for this quantity of lip balm.
Ingredients
1 teaspoon shea butter 1 teaspoon sweet almond oil 1 teaspoon beeswax 2 drops peppermint oil
3. Put the pan on low heat, just barely simmering. Leave until all the ingredients melt. 4. Once everything is melted, remove from the heat. Add the peppermint oil and stir to combine with a metal spoon. 5. Pour mixture into a small container. 6. Make sure you do this quickly so the mixture can solidify fast. If you don’t get it all transferred at once, just reheat and finish the job.
A Few Notes: Because there are no preservatives in the balm, it will only last a few months, but this really depends on the storage conditions.
Directions
1. Combine the shea butter, sweet almond oil and beeswax in a small glass jar or jug.
Make sure your fingers are clean so no bacteria is introduced to the balm.
2. Pour some water into the base of a small pan and stand the glass jar inside.
Cocoa butter could be substituted for the shea butter, to make a choc-mint lip balm!

Tips To Getting More Modeling Jobs Kim Thompson
A
model’s best strategy for success and to book more modeling jobs is to treat the people who employ them very well. An agent can expose and introduce a model to clients, photographers, and others in a position to hire them, but it is up to the model to impress the clients. Because there are so many models competing for the same assignments, it is almost impossible to succeed by performing the minimum. Models often think that it’s the prettiest or most handsome model that gets the modeling job, but that’s not often true. In many cases it’s the most professional model who gets the job. Clients consider many factors when choosing a model to represent their brand, and if a client’s choice comes down to a few models who all have the physical requirements they need, it will always be the most professional model who books the job. Here are some ways to enhance your brand and ultimately your bottom line.
Be Punctual & Professional
alter your look in other ways that differ for your photos. Know Your Business Arrive at your booking with all the items you have been told to provide. Always carry a model’s bag with your modeling essentials such as, your modeling portfolio, makeup, nude colored undergarments, lint brush, etc. If you have been given instructions for styling your own hair or applying your own makeup, arrive with all preparations made. It’s also a good idea to research the client that is holding the casting or go-see. Make sure to mention some of the things you have learned to the client. Anyone would be flattered to know someone is interested enough to take the time to find out more about their company. Good Attitude As you arrive to the job, be enthusiastic and eager to work. There may be unfavorable situations, such as inadequate dressing rooms, too hot or too cold weather, clothes that don’t fit, and temperamental co-workers, but you still want to be considerate. Your focus should be on how to model the items effectively and not your surroundings. Think about getting booked again so put forth an effort to show the client that you

The Ultimate Wine Station Pam Laureno
A
lthough the kitchen is the heart of the home when you are entertaining, to avoid a potential traffic jam, create designated stations. Keep an easy, relaxed atmosphere so guests can feel comfortable serving themselves, which will free up your time to socialize with your guests. Whether it’s simple spritzers or fancy signature drinks, use these tips for your next party.
WINE RECIPES White Peach Sangria Sangria comes in many flavors today and no matter which recipe you choose, there's no doubting that it is the ultimate wine punch. This white peach sangria is a lighter and brighter recipe that is perfect for summer parties. This white peach sangria recipe is not only delicious, but it's also very easy to make. It has a lighter profile than many sangrias and there's no need to marry the flavors overnight, which other recipes often require. It's the perfect last-minute punch when you're trying to prepare everything for a party and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
SET UP A DESIGNATED SPACE. Using a desk or table, set up in an area that is easily accessible to guests, but out of high traffic areas of the home. Maximize your space by keeping decorations to a minimum. Create an impressive display with multiple rows of bottles and glasses on one side of the table. Be sure to include basic Ingredients bar necessities such as a small cutting board, an ice bucket 1 (750 mL) bottle white wine and a bowl of cut up fruit. 1 1/4 cups mango rum 1 1/4 cups peach schnapps 1 1/2 ounces lemon juice FABULOUS DECORATIONS. What is a beverage 1 1/2 ounces lime juice station, without sparkling decorations? Try hanging a large 1 1/2 ounces orange juice mirror or chalkboard with written drink specials or a photo 2 1/2 cups lemon-lime soda keepsake filled with pictures of your guests. Add Garnish: white peach slices something extra by using silver trays, wine charms or pretty ribbon on each glass.
Steps to Make It
CREATE SIGNATURE DRINKS. Rather than stock a full bar, create a signature cocktail that you and your guests can enjoy. Make a large pitcher or punch bowl ahead of time to ensure easy service. Be sure to make an alternate non-alcoholic version for any guests refraining and label each one.

Gather the ingredients. In a punch bowl, add large pieces of ice to fill it just over halfway. Add the wine, mango rum, peach schnapps, all the citrus juices and lemon-lime soda. Serve in glasses garnished with slices of white peach and enjoy! The recipe yields about 70 ounces, which is just over 16 four-ounce servings. www.styleandglam.com
Glamour Gal This is a fantastic wine martini that's ideal for a girl's night or anytime you want a delicious, fruity cocktail. With your choice of wine, simply add peach schnapps and cranberry juice to complete this cocktail.
Ingredients 3 ounces rosé wine 1 ounce peach schnapps 1/2 ounce cranberry juice Garnish: maraschino cherry
Steps to Make It Gather the ingredients. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the wine, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a cherry and serve. TIPS: Since the other ingredients are sweet, it may be best to go for a drier wine. To make the cranberry accent a little lighter, switch to
white cranberry juice. This recipe is a fabulous choice for a pitcher drink. To make it really easy, pour a bottle of rosé, 1 cup of peach schnapps, and 1/2 cup of cranberry juice; increase as needed. Pour a sparkling rosé to give the martini a bubbly touch. With this option, shake the schnapps and juice, then add the wine directly to the glass. If you prefer, skip the schnapps and switch to peach nectar or juice. You'll get the same great taste, while significantly reducing the alcohol. This fruity mixture is also a good candidate for a fun, slushy rosé. Combine the three ingredients with 1 cup of ice in your blender and blend it up! You might want to increase the cranberry juice to 1 ounce and possibly add a splash each of lemon juice and simple syrup.
Take your social and legal responsibility as party host seriously and be sure to monitor your guests alcohol consumption. Abstain or drink moderately so that you are able to assess the situation more accurately. Look up the number of a local cab company and keep it in an easily accessible spot ahead of time to encourage your guests to be responsible as well.
Tips To Getting More Modeling Jobs cont’d can work in any and all environments. Closely follow all instructions you have been given by the photographer. Take Care Of Yourself This may be a no brainer, but it is crucial to get plenty of sleep. From tired eyes to dark circles, late nights or partying will always affect your looks. Another concern that most clients have is the model’s grooming. Often times, designers provide expensive clothing that will be sold to the public after their campaign. In this case, it is important for you to take special care of proper grooming. Because the model will come in close contact with the garments, it is imperative that the model is shaven and freshly showered to prevent any odor transferring onto the clothing. In the case, you didn’t have time to wash before the job, use powder fresh wipes. Make sure to not use heavy perfumes, as that will also, create a strong odor in the items. Show Them What You Got As the model, it is literally your job to convince the client to rehire you. It’s always a great thing to go out of your way to provide the items the client requests. Make sure to sell the “item” with many innovative ideas of posing. In the case that you are not hitting the mark, don’t give up trying. Showing the client that you are determined to fulfill their vision will show perseverance and dedication. Qualities all clients are looking for in their models. Don’t forget to smile through it all.

MODEL INFLUENCER
What are some of your most memorable moments? T: My first great memory was when I came back from a brief hiatus to raise my family and I participated in a Winter shoot. It was below 20 degrees and I laid in the snow with a backless sequins evening gown. I was freezing but all I could think was to get the perfect shot. The other moment changed my life when I won 2nd place Runner up in the 2017 Style & Glam Model Competition. I not only realized I had the power to conquer so many obstacles but that this was my passion.
What would you say to up and coming models? T: Modeling starts on the inside not the outside. Your character is everything. It is what others will see when they look at you, so be careful who you allow yourself to become. Make sure you take care of your physical and spiritual health. This industry is fast paced and can make you lose yourself if you let it. What are your goals moving forward? T: I would love to educate aspiring models on how to properly enter the modeling industry to avoid those pitfalls a lot of new models make. I, also, would like to go deeper into my singing and acting. I am planning to launch a jewelry and decorative pillow collection in the near future. 50

Who are your inspirations? T: My personal relationship with God has given me confidence and strength to pursue my dreams. My daughter, Aysaiah, is also a source of my inspiration. I have seen her persevere through many heart breaking issues that teenagers now have to deal with and I am so proud of her blossoming into a beautiful young lady, in spite of the disappointments.
