hile running his normal milk route in 1934, Eldon Stutsman’s neighbors started asking him to bring supplies back from town. With a desire to serve others, Eldon was glad to oblige. The requests kept coming and a company was born.

What started as just a man and a truck is now Eastern Iowa’s largest family-owned supplier of wholesale and retail agriculture products and services.

RAVEN® ELECTRIC SHUT-OFF VALVES

TEEJET MODEL 344 BEC VALVES

Valves are compatible with all currently available sprayer controls. Only 0.6 second response time from open to close. Pressures up to 300 PSI,1” and pressures up to 150 PSI, 1-1/2” and made of corrosionresistant materials.

These 12-volt DC-operated valves can be operated by an SPST (on-oﬀ) switch. 3-way valves have three ports. Flow is diverted to either of the two outlets and there is no oﬀ position.

A tapered inner cylinder inside the screen causes incoming liquid to flow at high velocity past the screen. Foreign particles are continuously flushed toward the bottom of the bowl where they are discharged through the bypass outlet and returned to the tank. A minimum of 6 GPM is required through this bypass outlet. At the end of the spraying operation the debris can simply be flushed from the tank. Note: The 1/2-inch bypass outlet acts as a secondary bypass in most cases. This reduces the overall system pressure and will also reduce the volume of liquid previously available to the spray boom. For use on the pressure side of pumps, maximum pressure is 200 PSI at 100°F.

MANURE MASTER FOAM AWAYTM

Designed to knock down foam in swine storage facilities. It’s a concentrated dry blend of stabilized bacterial spores, enzymes, methane inhibitors and micronutrients. It inhibits the production of methane gas while populating the manure with beneﬁcial bioaugmentation microbes. Use 5 pounds FoamAway per 100,000 gallon manure. • A single domed 7 gauge continuously welded deck. This makes the cutter extremely easy to clean, prevents water pooling and rusting, helps shed debris as you cut and weighs less than double decks

• 6.5” blade overlap and high blade tip speeds.

• A four gearbox drive line with independent slip clutches. The splitter has 1-3/4” 20 spline input and output shafts and is rated at 260hp. The centre and wing boxes have 1-3/4” 20 spline input shafts, 2-3/8” down shafts and are rated at 210hp.

• An 80 degree CV shaft allows for smooth power transmission during tight turns.

Spraying Solutions Other Than Water — New Method

Since all the tabulations in this catalog are based on spraying water, which weighs 8.34 lbs. per USA gallon, conversion factors must be used when spraying solutions which are heavier or lighter than water. To determine the proper size nozzle for the solution to be sprayed, ﬁrst multiply the desired GPM or GPA of solution by the water rate conversion factor. Then use the new converted GPM or GPA rate to select the proper size nozzle.

Example:

Desired application rate is 20 GPA of 28% N. Determine the correct nozzle size as follows:

GPA (solution) x Conversion factor = GPA (from table)

20 GPA (28%) x 1.13 = 22.6 GPA (water)

The applicator should choose a nozzle size that will supply 22.6 GPA of water at the desired pressure.

Measuring Travel Speed

Measure a test course in the area to be sprayed or in an area with similar surface conditions. Minimum lengths of 100 and 200 feet are recommended for measuring speeds up to 5 and 10 mph, respectively. Determine the time required to travel the test course. To help insure accuracy, conduct the speed check with a partially loaded (about half full) sprayer and select the engine throttle setting and gear that will be used when spraying. Repeat the above process and average the times that were measured. Use the following equation or the table below to determine ground speed.

Suggested Minimum Spray Heights

The nozzle height suggestions in the table below are based on the minimum overlap required to obtain uniform distribution. However, in many cases, typical height adjustments are based on a 1 to 1 nozzle spacing to height ratio. Standard 10” camera kit, which is a portable kit that is a great solution to the blind spots on your grain carts, skidloaders, or any application. It’s equipped with standard 700 TVL cameras with two 30 ft. cables. While this monitor has up to four camera inputs, this particular kit will come with two cameras. The 10” monitor has the ability to monitor multiple cameras at the same time. Operators can choose to view any number of cameras with the touch of a button. 10” kits come with a remote that allows the user to switch the camera view and manage their monitor. You can power your monitor with the cigarette lighter adapter, or choose to hard-wire into your system. This kit can be easily installed. Installation video available on Visionworks website.

VisionWorks Cameras are unique because any existing camera can be made wireless with the transmitter and receiver package. You can transmit up to 400 ft. with a good line of site. Wireless packages include your transmitter and receiver for a speciﬁc channel. If you wish to have more than one camera run wirelessly, please make sure you request a diﬀerent channel when your purchase your next wireless package. They come in A, B, C and D.
