Design is important – work out what you want to do before you start. Draw the outline of the boomerang on paper and plan. If you are not happy at this stage you may want to rethink your design. When you paint, check the paint consistency on scrap paper, the same with brush and dot techniques. Practice until you are ready to apply your design to the boomerang

Solid 6mm thick and flights are cut into the edge of the boomerang to assist with returning when thrown.
