FE Electrical Exam The study of the FE electrical exam is challenging. This exam is administered by the NCEES (National council of examiners for engineering and surveying). You can give this exam after college graduation. This exam covers the materials that are taught in the first-semester course. This exam is six hours long that has 110 questions, and you will be given 25 minutes break in the middle of the exam, but that is optional. There are nearly 18 different subjects you will have to study. It is a computer-based exam, so the examiner takes the exam at a test center approved by the NCEES. During the FE Electrical Exam, you cannot go back to the first section if you complete the first section and then begin the other area. The maximum number of questions is multiplechoice. You will get one mark for every correct answer, and there is no negative marking for the incorrect answers. So if you don’t know the answer, you can guess any option. The NCEES never publish the passing score. After few days of the exam, you will get your results. A guide to crack the exam The NCEES provides you with the necessary details on their website about the study material required to pass the exam like reference books, handbooks, practice books, et cetera. The NCEES website also has details related to topics that will come in the exam and how many marks. The pass rate of the FE electrical exam is relatively high. The exam is a tough test, and it’s scary, but it is not much different than what you have studied before in your college. The basic rules are still there.
You need to be focused and determined while preparing for the exam. You will have to solve maximum practice problems before the exam. You will also have to prepare a timetable and complete your work according to the deadline.
