CA Praveen Sharma graduated from Sri Venkateswara College with a 몭rst-class Commerce degree from Delhi University. In 1996, he completed the Chartered Accountancy Course and was put on the merit list (Rank Holder) in both the Intermediate and Final exams. Since July 2007, he completed his post-graduate studies in Indian Accounting Standards and US GAAP. In January 2010, he completed an ICAI certi몭cate course on valuation. He is also a Licentiate of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India. He was the highest student at Delhi University, with a perfect score in Accountancy. In 1990, he also received a Gold Medal in the Accounts Olympiad. He was co-opted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s Board of Studies (2006-2007), Advisor, Accounting Standards Committee (2007-08), Member of the Committee for Accounting Standards for Local Bodies for the year 2007-2008, and Regional Monitoring Committee (2003-04), and Member, Committee on Management Accounting for the year 2008-09. He has extensive expertise teaching Accountancy to CA Final and CA IPCC P.E.II / Intermediate students, as well as being a visiting faculty member at ICAI and ICWAI.
