For the first time in over twenty years, we didn’t launch our new collection at a trade fair.
Not because we’re slowing down — quite the opposite. After celebrating our 20th anniversary with our strongest year ever, and with 2026 already off to a wonderful start, we felt inspired to experiment.
To step out of the familiar rhythm of always working toward a fair presentation, and instead create space. Space to explore. To play. To connect differently.
This year, we’re turning it around. Rather than waiting to meet you at a fair, we’re coming to you. We’re visiting stores, listening, seeing how things are going on your shop floor, and exchanging ideas about display and presentation. Because while fairs are special moments, many of you we don’t get to see there — and we value those conversations just as much.
The theme of this inspiration booklet is therefore simple: from Amsterdam — our home — to you.
Together with our team and art director Ines Beeftink, we photographed the new collection in the historic heart of Amsterdam. We also stepped inside the beautiful new apartment of Romy and Ilya — a light-filled monument in the city — to show how our pieces live within an interior.
Our growing flower collection, developed with the talented Jantien Baas, continues to bloom. Each piece can stand alone as a small artwork, or come together as a colourful, artful bouquet.
We even played with the idea of a flower shop on a bakfiets — a very Amsterdam way of bringing beauty to the streets. And truly, what could be a better gift than a sustainable bouquet that never fades?
You’ll also discover our new insects: metallic beetles inspired by the extraordinary armour and colours found in nature, and butterflies that look ready to flutter through a botanical garden — except ours can grace your walls without a trace of guilt.
And finally — after many requests — our peacock has arrived. Majestic, proud and expressive, we’re certain it will find its place on many walls around the world.

As we step into our 21st year, we’re excited to share that Anael Patry has joined Studio ROOF as a partner. Many of you already know him — he has been part of our team for over eight years and has played an essential role in our creative journey. Romy often introduced him as her left and right hand, and we’re delighted to now officially welcome him as partner.
Romy and Ilya remain as involved and passionate as ever — and we truly believe that our diverse and creative team is one of the greatest strengths of Studio ROOF.
This season may look a little different — but we feel more inspired than ever.
