By using the latest technologies in computer-aided design, the Outer Reef team is able to construct all models from only three major molds. Minimizing the number of components increases the structural integrity of the hull, guarantees a quiet ride and eliminates the possibility of water intrusion.
Outer Reef implements a variety of intelligent features that enhance vessel longevity and contribute to the overall ease of operation. S e a C h e s t s | Outer Reef uses sea chests for all raw water intakes for main engines, generators and ancillary equipment that requires raw water cooling. This eliminates the dozens of typical through hull fittings needed to supply raw water to onboard equipment. Protection of Running Gear | All Outer Reef yachts feature highly protected running gear with propellers partially recessed into pockets plus the attribute of an extra-deep keel. Drain Manifold System | All nuisance water from the flybridge to the lower decks drains to the waterline via the drain manifold system. This prevents unsightly streaking of the hull and eliminates the need for numerous through hull fittings. Efficient Engine Rooms | The engine room is spacious, well laid out, and provides easy access to all equipment for ease of monitoring and maintenance. Driven by Caterpillar engines and equipped with Northern Lights generators, the Outer Reef has all the power you require. Heavy-duty sound proofing is used throughout for maximum sound suppression.

In addition to the quiet ride under way, the Outer Reef Quiet Roll Spray Rail System™ eliminates hull noise in a rough anchorage. The signature of an Outer Reef is her whisper quiet ride under way, even below decks. All engines and equipment are soft-mounted to eliminate vibration and noise. Every Outer Reef engine room is well insulated, including the use of multiple layers of sound-deadening lead foam. Storage is simply amazing and very well thought out. Concealed storage spaces, easy to reach, well-finished, and sealed for protection, are found throughout the yacht. Spacious decks and swim platform
Outer Reef’s deck areas are fantastic—uncluttered, and inviting. The covered aft deck is wonderful for dining and relaxing, just steps from the main salon. Walk down the twin stairway to the swim platform that provides easy access to the water. Take a swim right from the yacht or take the tender to explore. A standard hydraulic davit system allows secure and convenient storage of the tender. An enormous lazarette area, accessible from both the swim platform and the engine room, is perfect for a workbench, stowing diving equipment, or general storage.
