SIRPUR CORPORATE OFFICE Gurgaon, Delhi NCR 20,000 sq.ft , May 2008
The interiors of this space drew direct inspiration from the exterior facade of corten steel, brick and concrete that enveloped the building of the corporate headquarters of the paper mill, the Sirpur House. The atrium that spills through the entire side of a wing implies the influence of the “paper story” in its concept with paper rolls acting as the inspiration for the furniture that were crafted out of sandwiched plywood sheets to unfold as origami-like sculpted forms of sweeping planes of paper.

MKM OFFICE Jasola, New Delhi 6,000 sq.ft , Nov 2010
The brief stated the creation of a clean space that would deliver a statement and exude a certain sense of quality. Peripheral cabins in glass, along the south west corner in accordance with Vastu, frame a notional central ‘courtyard’ like space that opens out to the green terrace through the glass walls of the boardroom, offering privacy yet retaining the essence of transparency. The central ‘courtyard’ is elaborately done up with lines of potted plants engulfing the area. At the culmination of this design project, one is treated to a visual quite unlike those projected by a conventional office space.

MODI ENTERPRISES New Friends Colony, New Delhi 6,500 sq.ft , Mar2011
This workspace spread over 3 floors of an existing old structure has an eclectic and intimate 'home office’ feel. This has been achieved through the bespoke furniture designed in house coupled with beautiful artwork from the Client. The old concrete staircase was gutted as were the old façade walls. The enclosed cabins are laid out on the inner edge and common workspaces on the facade edge overlooking the large neighbouring trees bringing daylight deep inside and creating the feeling of being nestled among the beautiful old trees that the building has on its periphery.

EVEREST OFFICE Noida 28,000 sq.ft , Ongoing
The intent was to develop a creative workspace for different departments of Everest building solutions. The programme is split onto two levels, the ground floor being the reception with the design team and the second floor being the main workspace. The various naturally lit peripheral departments look onto a central Garden through a visually permeable skin made out of glass and Cement boards (an Everest product) articulated in different ways. Like the skin, there are other elements made from their own products which makes a bold statement about the company philosophy and vision.

OSE OFFICE Aerocity, New Delhi 9,000 sq.ft , Ongoing
For their brand new offices in Aerocity, New Delhi, Oriental Structural Engineers approached Lotus to design the interiors of their Reception on the ground floor and the first floor that holds the executive offices, conference room, MD’s office and Terrace. The double height atrium at the entrance provided the opportunity to add drama to the space by connecting the 2 floors with the use of tall brass screens; creating a shell within a shell. This device is complemented with the use of warm materials and highly textured surfaces that give the space a rich, high end and exclusive look and feel.

KRISHI BHAVAN Odisha 1,41,000 sq.ft , Ongoing The innovative design of the facade maintains dual functionality of identity and solar shading . It also ensures that all glazing is externally shaded, thereby reducing energy consumption and cost. The bricks, made of three shades of earth, represent the colors of soil in Odisha. The brick are laid in louvers and laid in the manner of a weave akin to Odishi ikat work. The project uses an innovative passive cooling system and promotes sensitization to local materials and new ways of integrating crafts in a contemporary environment.

SILVERGLADES CORPORATE OFFICE Gurgaon, Delhi NCR 6,500 sq.ft , 2006 The objective of space planning for one of the premium real estate development group has been to essay comfort and warmth and reflect the work flow pattern and brand values of the company. Maintaining acoustic privacy yet establishing a visual connect between the individual cabins proved to be one of the challenges. The city skyline was used as the primary screen in frosted treatment on glass. A feature wall along the entrance was created which made use of construction materials being stacked between sheets of glass. The lighting installed washed the ceiling and walls with a pleasant ambience and provided warmth and a sense of belonging to an individual meandering along the spaces.
