Chresten Sommer’s designs should appeal to all genders and all ages.

His designs follow several rules: they have to be simple, accentuate the aesthetics of wood, and combine nature with sweet and childish expressions - and of course, always be hand-turned. It is crucial to him that his characters have the right proportions and the right expression.

He is only satisfied when he feels that this is his best design so far.

It has always been the craftmanship and using his hands, that attracted him. And it was the fascination with the craft that 15 years ago led him to make wooden designs as a hobby.

Kitchen & dining Many of life’s great and small conversations take place around the dining table. This is where we get together after a long day to enjoy a great meal with family and friends. When we spend so much time at the dining table, it’s important to make it special, and to make an effort with the table decor.

Mr. Pepper & Mrs. Salt

Spring Copenhagen’s first product was a pepper grinder from the 1950’s – The Pepper Bird. Then followed The Pepper Bird’s friend, The Salt Penguin. Our third product was the adventurous trivet Clumsy Hans, inspired by the tale of Clumsy Hans by the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen.

Lighting Light is a major factor in the indoor climate of our home and workplace. The same applies to restaurants. When the lighting changes, the mood changes and the room changes character.

We believe that the right lighting and decor can make the most modest home appear luxurious. Our goal as such is not only to design beautiful and decorative

lamps, but also to shape light that provides the right atmosphere and helps make a difference in the everyday life.

Our first collection consists of a pendant lamp and a table lamp from the well-known Danish designer Poul Christiansen and rechargeable and portable indoor and outdoor lamps from the duo mencke&vagnby. We are working to expand the collection with more unique pendants, floor lamps, and table lamps for both indoor and outdoor use.

Poul Christiansen For Poul Christiansen, design is only good if it has a purpose.

His work with design is about solving a more or less complex problem in the best possible way. But he also believes that good design should have an artistic element that speaks directly to our emotions.

Good design must include an element of innovation that pushes development in the right direction. His approach to design is driven by the idea that the design should bring something new: a new material, a new processing technology, or a new need that it can meet.

When Poul Christiansen designs, he finds inspiration in nature and its wealth of fascinating constructions.

Eva Stæhr-Nielsen’s style was innovative with rustic materials and shiny glazes. She became world-famous for feminine, robust, and functionalist craftsmanship.

Nis Hauge is known for creating functional and easily recognisable products that retain elements of imagination and play.

Jesper Wolff enjoys exploring new materials and production methods.

It is the how materials can be used and combined that interests him.

Tonn-P’s creations always had a strong and congruous appearance, while the design itself was functional and contemporary. His favorite materials were paper, wood and clay.

The woman behind Faprik is called Mette Geisler. She has a colorful and challenging approach to design.

Her goal is to make a positive difference and create value for people and society.

Thor Høy transcends many genres, worlds, and trades - sometimes even himself. His work points in many directions - but that is the point. Because when Thor designs, he pours all his experience into it to create everything from lamps to the wooden tumbler series he has developed for Spring Copenhagen.

Troels Øder Hansen appreciates designs that have a clear idea, preferably with undertones of new, surprising, and slightly quirky concepts. He always tries to be exploratory and methodical in his approach to design.

Benjamin Hansen is known for his minimalist style and his play with colors and shapes. The minimalist features are repeated in all his designs, and his products easily blend with their surroundings.

Kenn Vendelbo runs the design company fabrikata. He is particularly fascinated by bamboo as a material for his designs, because it is strong, light, sustainable, and beautiful all at once.

mencke&vagnby is the design duo Karina Mencke (1977) and Marcus Vagnby (1981). They question everything - each other, the design and the process - and they both believe that by asking questions, they create the development that provides a usable, functional and aesthetic product.

We work with some of the best designers in Scandinavia.

For Poul Christiansen, design is only good if it has a purpose. His work with design is about solving a more or less complex problem in the best possible way. But he also believes that good design should have an artistic element that speaks directly to our emotions.

Grounded Craftwork is a Danish, innovative design with local roots, known for unique furniture and unique wooden accessories.

The designs often come in series, and common to them all is their original design with a sense of lightness in their appearance.

Chresten Sommer’s designs should appeal to all genders and all ages.

His designs follow several rules: they have to be simple, accentuate the aesthetics of wood and combine nature with sweet and childish expressions - and of of course, always be hand-turned.

Jens Ivan Christoffersen preferred to work with wood. This was partly due to his training as a carpenter and civil engineer, but also because wood has its very own beautiful structure and is naturally well suited for shaping large and small objects.

studiobaki designs architectural solutions with a focus on social and personal features as well as unique and place-specific aspects, where a high quality of aesthetics and functionality are matter of course.

Jimmy Kessler is a trained furniture designer from the Danish School of Design and is behind the design brand 4600 Nord. When he works, he starts by adding lots of details, and then gradually takes them away. He continues like this until he finds the right balance.

Christoffer Skjøtt’s designs are made with the end-user in mind.

From his studio Møbel & Rum, he develops products for use in everyday life - products that have a purpose and are not just unnecessary clutter.
