We’ve been in the ower pot business for a long time, producing our rst planter from raw Missouri clay shortly after the end of World War II.
Our goal after more than 70 years remains the same as it was on the day we rst red our kilns - to help you, our customer, grow your pottery pro ts.
We are convinced that pottery can be a yearround pro t center for you, and to that end, we have dedicated the rst portion of this catalog to highlighting pots and accessories which are perfectly suited for all of the seasons of the year.
We o er several di erent discounting programs which allow you to save on your pottery buy from us, enabling you to o er our pots to your customers at competitive prices while retaining your full margins:

Returns and Breakage Claims:

• Many of our products are hand-crafted to one degree or another, and in many ways, every piece that we sell is unique. Slight variations in size, weight, color or decoration are to be expected, and add an element of character to each and every item.
• Small cracks may sometimes appear on the bottom of our outdoor pieces. These cracks are a result of the traditional ring methods used to produce the pots, and are not considered a defect, as they in no way impact the structural integrity of the items.

The cast iron wok has been an iconic part of daily life in Vietnam for hundreds of years. They are used for cooking, washing, mixing, and hundreds of other tasks in households across the country.
We've adapted it for use as a patio-friendly firepit, adding a steel stand, a steel grate to allow air circulation, and a steel mesh screen cover.
Vertical gardens are among the hottest trends in the industry as a wide spectrum of consumers repopulate downtown areas across the country.
These planters, crafted from a durable lightweight concrete, feature a relatively narrow footprint, and are perfect for placement on patios and small rooftop gardens.
Each vertical planter includes 5 staggered pocket segments, which can be stacked on the included iron stand as shown or mounted directly onto a wall.

Our Glazed Umbrella Pots are designed to wrap around the pole of a patio umbrella. They are fully glazed on the inside, and do not have drainage holes. They are perfect for tabletop planting, or for holding napkins, utensils, and condiments

Our Thai pot mixed pallet assortment has been an absolute smash hit this year, as consumers have embraced the totally rustic pots and their attractive retail prices. Most often used to protect metallic surfaces, the powder coating process can also be used to decorate flower pots and vases in bright uniform colors.
Traditionally, most ceramic flower pots have been coated with glazes. While glazed pots can be gorgeous, the colors produced can be unpredictable because glazes melt and run together when they are baked in the ceramic kilns. In contrast, the powder coating process will generally result in uniform colors, and can be produced in a rainbow of consistent, vibrant colors and metallic finishes.

A Few Notes About our Basalt Clay: One of the newer additions to our German pottery collection is a dark clay blend that we call “Basalt”, after the mineral that gives the clay its unique dark, marbled nish. This material o ers all of the bene ts of our red clay, while adding an upscale element to the overall look of the pots. The Basalt line has proved itself in retail settings for the past several years, and is a logical extension of any red clay program.
For over 70 years, Ceramo has built a reputation as a leader in the red clay marketplace, beginning as a manufacturer and growing into a leading US importer of the world’s greatest red clay pots. Over the decades we’ve built a track record as an extraordinarily reliable vendor to independent garden centers, with a proven history of on-time deliveries, minimal back-orders, and detailed QC protocols. We have a deep partnership with Spang, the German manufacturer of these amazing clay planters, in which we carry an inventory depth su cient to meet most urgent product demands in a timely fashion.
• Over the past 5 years, our boxed clay programs have an average ll rate of over 99%.
• The fully automated Spang production lines result in an incredible consistent product - the sizes are always the same from batch to batch. This attention to detail reduces breakage.
• Spang’s innovation and product development are at the top of the industry. This results in practical ideas such as the banding around the rims of larger pots (See below for details), and design-driven introductions which ensure that your clay department is on-trend and ready to appeal to your customers.
• We also carry a range of Italian terra cotta which o ers a more traditional look and appeal, and a handful of selected items from the USA.
• Spang also produces our line of powder-coated terra cotta pots. This amazing process produces pots with rich, uniform colors at price points far more attractive than comparably-sized glazed pots. Our powder-coated collection may be found on pages 17, 82-85, & 102-103.
• Direct-import programs of Spang pots may be quoted on request.
• Simply put, we are capable of servicing the red clay needs of accounts ranging in size from large chains to small seasonal fruit stands and everything in between.
A Few Notes About Our Reinforced Rims:
Many of our larger terra cotta pots (6” diameter and larger) feature a reinforced rim unlike anything else found in the market. These rims are speci cally engineered to enhance both the quality and the durability of these pots.
What do these rims do?
• The banded portion of the rim helps to keep the pots perfectly round during the production and ring processes - this structural integrity allows the pots to stack correctly, keeping them from scraping and scratching each other during transit, resulting in beautiful pots generating pro ts on your shelves.
• The thicker rims also help to ensure that the weight of the stacked pots is distributed evenly during transit. This reduces breakage claims and shrinkage across the category.
• The rolled rim found on the largest pots is designed to help keep the most vulnerable part of the pot (the rim) from chipping and cracking, as it both de ects and distributes the force from various impacts.
