Long standing tradition of excellence in preparing educators and nurses
The Global EdD in Nursing Education prepares the faculty of tomorrow by preparing nurse educators with the knowledge, skills, and global perspective needed to lead and innovate across diverse educational and healthcare systems.
Grounded in evidence-based pedagogy, leadership, and scholarly inquiry, the 51-credit program emphasizes understanding international workforce needs, cultural contexts, and educational frameworks that shape nursing education worldwide.
Graduates are prepared to advance nursing education through teaching, curriculum design, research, and policy-informed practice, contributing to the development of a globally responsive and socially accountable nursing education workforce.
This is a hybrid program with the majority of classes online. For those outside the USA, there is one summer, full-semester teaching practicum in New Haven, CT at Southern Connecticut State University with campus housing available.
