A special Founders’ Day concert to celebrate the 140th anniversary, this concert will feature a selection of St Swithun’s musical ensembles including Concert Band, Chamber Choir and cellist Marharyta Dorosh, the winner of this year’s school music competition, will perform the first movement of Elgar’s Cello Concerto with the Symphony Orchestra.
Members of the school community and parents are invited to this event. Admission free. This concert will be recorded and available to stream the following week.

Join us for a day in these stunning private gardens. Bring a picnic and explore the beautiful scenery and planting. Enjoy a dog show, children’s treasure hunt, and plant sale. Your ticket includes a free slice of cake, a drink and the chance to enhance your picnic from our cold food stall.

Please come and join our headmistress, Ms Jane Gandee, and others from our school community for drinks and canapés at the University Women’s Club, Mayfair to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the school. Two St Swithun’s music scholars will perform some repertoire from our recent Founders’ Day Concert and there will be a slice of birthday cake for everyone to enjoy.

We are thrilled to have Mandy Hickson as our speaker this term. With over 30 years in aviation, she made history as the first woman to pilot the Tornado GR4 in combat zones like Iraq. Inspired by her grandfather, a WWII veteran, Mandy followed her dream to become a fighter pilot with determination and perseverance. Her motto “dream it, believe it, do it” reflects her journey. Mandy’s speeches are motivational and filled with humour and honesty about her challenges. Her bestselling book, ‘An Officer, not a Gentleman’, details her incredible journey as a pioneering female fighter pilot.

Our end of year party will be brighter than ever this year. Put together your year group table of 10 or 12 people and plan your outfits with a burst of fluorescence. There will be school disco dance-offs, a best-decorated table competition along with professional neon face-painters and a photo booth to capture your final group outfits.
Dance your socks off to our amazing DJ from Daydream Disco and place your winning bids for some of our amazing online auction prizes.
