FLYZOLO – AN EVENING WITH RECORD BREAKING PILOT ZARA RUTHERFORD In 2022, Old Girl Zara Rutherford completed her circumnavigation of the globe in a small aircraft and became the youngest woman to fly solo around the world. Zara aims to encourage young women to pursue their dreams and reduce the gender gap in aviation as well as in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Now she returns to St Swithun’s to share her inspirational story.

FOUNDERS’ DAY CONCERT The climax of the musical year, this concert will feature a selection of St Swithun’s musical ensembles including Concert Band, Chamber Choir and violinist Eleanor H L6, the winner of this year’s school music competition, will perform Saint-Saens’ Introduction et rondo capriccioso with the Symphony Orchestra.

MUSIC SCHOLARS & EXHIBITIONERS’ CONCERT Termly concert given by a selection of our music scholars and exhibitioners. A chance to hear our finest musicians performing as soloists.

SUMMER DRAMA PRODUCTION: 2+2=5 An immersive experience based on the iconic novel 1984 by George Orwell. The Party scrutinises human actions with the ever watchful ‘Big Brother’. This is a totalitarian environment where War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, Ignorance is Strength and Reality only exists in the Human Mind. Will you be part of this story?
