WHAT TO BRING - Bike, Shoes & Helmet (compulsory) - Kit: jersey, bib tights, jacket, gilet, rain cape, gloves, overshoes

OUR ROUTE Our route through the flat, quiet lanes takes us into Harrogate at the 25 mile mark. The route is designed to keep all the groups together and facilitate networking on the bike. There will be the option to tackle the tough 14km finishing circuit of the upcoming UCI Road World Championships. We’ll then head back to Bowcliffe Hall for a flat 20 miles. WATCHING TDY We’ll be based at The Kitchen on Otley Road, offering a ringside seat of the racing action. We’ll enjoy a pre-ride buffet of sandwiches, cake and coffee. We can also take the opportunity to tackle a lap of the finishing circuit of the upcoming Road World Championships in September, ahead of the Pros - who hit this point 75km into Stage 2 of the Tour de Yorkshire.

SAFETY
This event is not a race. The function of ride leaders is only to indicate direction and you are responsible for deciding when it is safe to cross traffic, overtake riders and to moderate your speed. You are reminded that the event is run on open public roads with all riders being expected to obey the Highway Code. Not co-operating with items raised in the ride briefing or inconsiderate/illegal riding may have implications on the running of future events. Riders who don’t co-operate will be asked not to continue on the event. The wearing of a hard shell helmet is mandatory.
