LOCATION: Conference & Banqueting, Rudding Park, Rudding Lane, Harrogate, HG3 1JH. TIME: Sign-on 8:30-9:00am with meet & greet, coffee and breakfast JERSEY: You can collect your jersey at sign-on ready to wear on the ride BIKES: If you are hiring a bike, these can be collected from our mechanic RIDE: Ride groups leaving from 9:30am PARKING: Ample free parking provided. Follow signs to conference and banqueting. Dietary Requirements: Vegetarian options are available. For other dietary

PRE-RIDE Join us for pre-ride networking over morning coffee, pastries and breakfast rolls. Our expert mechanic will be on hand to assist with any minor mechanicals before you set out on the route. Once all riders have signed on we’ll hold a safety briefing and then set off in small ability groups with your ride leader.
WHAT TO BRING - Bike - If you are hiring a bike please bring your pedals - Shoes & helmet (compulsory) - Jersey, bib shorts and arm warmers - Jacket, gilet or rain cape - Spare inner tube, tyre levers and a pump/CO2 canister - Water bottles

ROUTE Our route for the Fieldfisher Ride Yorkshire takes in some of the best cycling roads in the region. The route is fully sign posted but you can also download the route below.

CLIMBS Our route take us out to the picturesque Yorkshire village of Pateley Bridge to tackle the infamous climb, Greenhow Hill, featuring in the Under 23’s Road Race World Championships. Our final climb will be Norwood Edge, which will feature in the Women’s Elite Road Race of the World Championships.

FEED STOP Your feed stop will be featured 33 miles on the route. The feed stop will be stocked with sports nutrition, snacks and water.
EN ROUTE SUPPORT The Struggle support cars will be on the route should you need assistance, including a pro mechanic and expert local rider leaders who will chaperone each group along the route.

POST-RIDE LUNCH We’ll refuel post-ride back at Rudding Park with a well-deserved gourmet lunch, when we can relax and enjoy the post-ride banter.

SAFETY This event is not a race it is a personal challenge. The function of ride leaders is only to indicate direction and you are responsible for deciding when it is safe to cross traffic, overtake riders and to moderate your speed. You are reminded that the event is run on open public roads with all riders being expected to obey the Highway Code. Not co-operating with items raised in the ride briefing or inconsiderate/illegal riding may have implications on the running of future events. Riders who don’t co-operate will be asked not to continue on the event. The wearing of a hard shell helmet is mandatory. In the event of a medical emergency you call 999.
