Starbucks Shop Outfit
London Heathrow Airport T2 Commercial (Retail)
Project Features
Optimising the layout and ensuring the efficient use of space were crucial factors in the design- creating an inviting and comfortable environment for customers while ensuring that the outlet did not disrupt the terminal’s operations.
MJC conducted a comprehensive load assessment for ceiling features, MEP, HVAC systems, and all equipment. Calculations were carried out meticulously to ensure that the structural components could withstand the imposed loads and that safety standards were met.
One of the primary challenges was to adhere to the stringent standards set by London Heathrow Airport and the UK. This encompassed not only the structural design but also the load assessment for ceiling features, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and all the equipment within the outlet.
Project Overview
MJC played a key role in delivering an efficient shop outfit for the Starbucks outlet at London Heathrow Terminal 2 This project involved a harmonious blend of structural and interior design, load assessment, and strict adherence to Heathrow and UK standards.
MJC was responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and functionality of the Starbucks outlet, resulting in a successful addition to the terminal. We provided on-site support during the construction phase, overseeing the implementation of the design and addressing any unforeseen challenges.
