Clean the eyebrows with a q-tip and lightly moisten fabric with distilled or cooled downed boiling water within two hours after the procedure. Wipe the old healing balm and any lymphatic liquid that may have built up gently. Lightly pat dry with a tissue and re-apply the healing balm with a new q-tip. Ensure to apply a thin layer of healing balm every morning and night for a week. Avoid over-application of the healing balm. Don’t wet the brow area in water for at least 14 days. Avoid the face area while taking a shower. When you need to clean or wash the face, make sure that you avoid the brows and clean around them. Don’t put makeup on the brow area for the period recommended by your professional (which is usually a minimum of 10 days). Putting makeup on microbladed brows can lead to infections. It is not advised to consume alcohol, aspirin/ibuprofen, and any vitamins that can thin your blood for at least 24 hours. As the brow area heals, it may feel slightly itchy and will start to scab over. You must not peel or pick at the scabs as it may have an impact on the pigmentation outcome. You must not go swimming, tanning, or into saunas for at least 14 days. Don’t use any face scrubs or chemical peels for at least 2 weeks after the treatment.

Following these tips or what your microblading technician has suggested is necessary to ensure better results and achieve the desired outcome.
