A government tasked with the duty to provide reasonable safe roadways for the travelling

public, cannot assert its good intentions as an excuse for making the roadways even worse. Here, the Defendant City of Seattle, implemented a bike lane configuration in the Greenlake neighborhood. Hoping that it would make travelling safer. Instead it negligently created dangerous sight obstructions that resulted in a collision between a right turning car and a bicycle. With catastrophic results.
