CHOOSING THE RIGHT TRACK A sprinttrack might be the most important aspect of the whole space. It determines the look and feel of the room and it gives your club a unique identity. In addition, it also determines how you can organise the training sessions. The right choice of sprinttrack is therefore very decisive in our advice and design.

1. LENGTH AND WIDTH It is important when determining the dimensions of a tufted sprint track that the length of a roll is always 10/15/20/25/30m. The width of a roll is 2m or 4m. All dimensions are possible, but some dimensions cause WASTE. This waste will also be charged.

DIVIDERS The tracks can be subdivided into different distances. Often a division per metre is requested, but it is certainly possible to make subdivisions down to 10 centimetres.

THICKNESS LINES The outer lines are always 6 cm wide, the inner lines for the subdivisions are always 3 cm wide. MARGIN Sometimes tracks have a outside margin of 3 cm, this depends on the installation. NUMBERS We use helvetica medium for the numbers, and the height of a number is best between 15 and 20 cm.

AI / EPS / PDF We kindly ask you to deliver the file in one of the following versions: AI / EPS / PDF. DETAILS Logos with too much detail can cause problems when tufting, as the thickness of lines should be at least 2 to 3 cm. WIDTH It is almost impossible to place a logo on a track of 1m wide, then the logo will be too small. We therefore advise against placing quotes or logos on a track that is only 1 metre wide. QUOTES Quotes should be in capital letters, see example.

YOUR LOGO It is certainly possible to add your logo to your track, but keep in mind that you need to deliver the logo in one colour.

5. Y-TEST AND LADDERS Y-TEST The Y Balance Test (YBT) is a tool used to test a person’s risk for injury. It can be used for both the upper quarter and lower quarter. We use a standard Y-test (see example).
LADDER Please be as specific as possible about the dimensions of your ladder: the line thickness must be at least 3 cm (see example).
