Right Foot Forward Fitness Adds Lincoln Native Nikki Rausch to Team as Trainer

Right Food Forward Fitness recently added Nikki Rausch to their team as a new trainer. Nikki was born and raised in Lincoln and has worked in the fitness industry for 11 years. Day in and day out at the gym, she drew motivation from clients working hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Combined with her own love of an active lifestyle, Nikki was inspired to become an ACE Certified Personal Trainer in 2016. She has a passion for helping others become the best versions of themselves and enjoys working alongside them to achieve their goals. Patrick Named Interim Executive Director of Catholic Social Services of S. Nebraska

Bishop James Conley has appointed Katie Patrick as Interim Executive Director of Catholic Social Services of Southern Nebraska (CSS). She replaces Father Justin Fulton, whom Bishop Conley has appointed as vicar general of the Diocese of Lincoln and to handle the administrative oversight, strategy, and mission for CSS. Katie graduated from Pius X High School in Lincoln in 2002 and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2006. She received a master’s degree in diplomacy and international relations from Seton Hall University in 2010, and then spent a year volunteering for the Canossian Daughters of Charity in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She was named director of regional services for CSS in 2019. Catholic Social Services of Southern Nebraska provides food pantry services, emergency services including rent and utility assistance, disaster relief, refugee and immigration services, St. Gianna Women’s Homes, and a clinical and family counseling program. Cheesman fills the role previously held by Christine Wismer who recently stepped into semi-retirement. Prior to her promotion, Cheesman served as the lead social worker for Tabitha Hospice. Pemberly Place Promotes Maddie Grendahl

Pemberly Place is excited to welcome Maddie Grendahl to their Activities Team. Maddie is from Lincoln and attended high school at Lincoln Pius, where she participated in volleyball, swimming, and track. Maddie was in club volleyball and dance for more than 10 years, keeping her very busy throughout school. After high school, she attended Southeast Community College to study Early Childhood Development. She worked as an assistant teacher for the Childhood Development Center at the college, but later decided to look at additional career opportunities, which led her to Pemberly Place. Maddie started as a server at Pemberly Place. She loved working with the residents and, wanting to take more of a one-on-one approach, decided to help the Activities Team come up with new fun ideas while also assisting Pemberly’s life enrichment director. Being a goal-oriented person, she has set her sights on increasing overall participation in all planned activities. The hope is to get people out of their apartments and to depend on each other as a support system when family members are not available. Maddie is an animal lover, growing up with multiple dogs and now two cats. Maddie lives by a saying from The Lion King—"Hakuna Matata", which means “no worries, no troubles.” She strives to bring this to Pemberly residents every day!
