Streetz Ahead News BTEC Level 1 Diploma in Performing Arts - Dance Streetz Ahead are set to deliver a BTEC performing arts in dance starting in September 2016. Teachers and mentors will include professionals from the dance and performing arts industry. The course will be based at The Haringey 6th Form College. If you are interested or know someone aged between 16–18 yrs old who has a passion for dance, please contact us ASAP.
FlashMob Fitness This is a new and unique way of exercising designed by Streetz Ahead. We were successful in receiving funding to deliver flash mob fitness sessions to primary schools in Haringey and Enfield. In collaboration with Alexandra Palace and EMDP (Exercise Movement & Dance Partnership) all schools will flashmob at the Alexandra Palace Summer Festival on 23rd July 2016 – Save the Date!!!

‘Love No Evil’ - A story about ‘Geek boy’ who falls in love with the wrong person. He takes a journey overcoming many groups who try to stop him in his tracks. Will Fish Man persuade Boss Man to catch him? Will Fish Daughter abide by her fathers wishes, will the Jazzers blind him with their jazz hands? Will the Firestarters light up the sky? Will the Ravers stay awake all night? Will Cool Dude save his best mate? Join us for a remixed original Hip Hop Theatre production written and directed by Elizabeth Lahav WARNING: Continuous, Strenuous, Rapping and Dancing THROUGHOUT.

Summer term starts week commencing Monday 25th April (not including half term w/c Monday 30th May) until w/c Monday 18th July. The cost is £65 – this price includes 12 weeks of rehearsals, to be in our next production of ‘100 Years of Dance’, plus a DVD and certificate. Performing Arts Club is on Tuesdays 7–8pm and costs £65 (discounts available if this is a second class).
