The Team ’Greatest Show on Earth’ is an adaptation of ‘The Greatest Showman’. A powerful and passionate message about never giving up on your dreams. Adapted and directed by Elizabeth Lahav. With help from Sherona Knight as choreographer and produced by Olivia Wakeford. Filmed by Darren Michael and photographed by Carly Michael. Thank you to our dance teachers this term who were Belle Mehmet, Elizabeth Lahav, John Bodea, Ruby Williams, Sherona Knight, Tashan Taylor & Taylor Agarrat. Thank you to our dance and performing arts assistants; Amanda Demby, Jack Greaves, Laura Ellis & Shelly Porter. Thank you also to our young assistants at Campsbourne School - Dylan, Leelou and Jamie. We would also like to thank our backstage team who are invaluable on show day.

Award Winners Streetz Ahead were awarded for ‘Improving the Lives of Children & Young People in Haringey’ at the Haringey Community Expo.

Performing Arts Club

Spring Term 2019 Next term, Streetz Ahead will be going crazy for chocolate - if your child would like to be part of our weekly dance classes or join the Performing Arts Club, please see dates below and get in touch.

Auditions for main parts and ensemble are on Tuesday 4th December at The Millfield House.

Monday 7th Jan - Friday 5th April Costs £80 and Includes: Performance of Charlie on Sunday 17th March.

SAYIT In December 2018 we will be starting up a committee of young people ‘Streetz Ahead Young Interactive Team’, who will help to shape Streetz Ahead by giving us their valuable feedback and suggestions from a young persons point of view. The meetings will be held on Wednesdays in Southgate once a term. Please do get in touch if you would like to apply.

Enfield of Parade of Lights

Wolf on Tour

We will be part of this parade on Sunday 2nd December from 2.30-5.30pm and will walk through the ‘streetz' of Enfield singing songs from Greatest Showman - if you would like to join us on this exciting and festive celebration with the local community- please get in touch.

What’s Up Bruce Grove This year Streetz Ahead have raised funds to run a one day festival to let everyone know what’s happening at Bruce Grove. All Streetz Ahead families are welcome for a day of exciting taster workshops including Breakdancing, singing, martial arts. Food available for all and a performance at 3pm. Please let us know if you are coming so we can cater accordingly.

Streetz Ahead are now producing a children’s touring production of ‘WOLF’.

As a charity, our objections are to inspire young people through dance and performing arts and now we intend to engage audiences through the medium of dance, hip hop and rap. We believe young audiences are empowered and inspired by watching young performers who best to speak their language? Their honesty is a powerful tool - Wolf creates an important space where children can find their own voice.

Dance Giants

This academic year, Streetz Ahead have designed a brand new initiative called Dance Giants. We have specialized Dance Mentors who work with a group of children for a year who would benefit from weekly dance and mentoring.

They learn Breakdancing and incorporate spoken word, film and poetry into their end of year production. They learn skills and valuable tools to help them through their everyday lives. If you would like this at your school, please get in touch.
