Ice Formations

Ice formations on a barren shoreline Encapsulated decayed foliage Embodied in new creation Sunlight softly touches the pinnacles Glistening transparency evoked Life before and after Ice fingers will eventually be subdued By the warmth of incoming suns’ rays As the earth draws closer in proximity To the great solar sun God Smooth and cold Staunch and stately The winds blow as the ice melts into nothing Nothing but water returning to its womb We stand and stare We watch and glean We wonder the power of unseen forces At play swirling around and through us We marvel at the precision and accuracy Of the creators works of art Diverse, unique, colourful and beautiful Wild and rugged Windswept and stately Tapestries of patchwork fields Water lilies lazily drift afloat an unseen world How vast and undiscovered How far can His ways be searched out? Yet, here I am A mere grain of sand in an ocean desert With that same powerful energy ignited within Allowing freedom of thought Giving the intricate gifts to live
