Twilight Eclipse: Torn between two monsters

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Now Playing I can’t believe I’m writing this, but Eclipse is one of the best summer flicks I’ve seen this year.

Forget the first two movies from the franchise that feel like a halfstep up from After School Special vampire melodrama for tweens; Eclipse is a fully realized action/ horror flick with a nicely turned out story arc, great villains, cool action sequences, and loads of tension from start to finish. And most importantly: Eclipse doesn’t take itself too seriously.

There are three main elements that separate Eclipse from the earlier movies: the backdrop narrative, the tension (sexual and narrative), and the sense of humor.

On Friday, June 25, over 200 people gathered at Café Metropolitain for the first annual Pride

The Bend-It Extravaganza, the all-ages Queer Pride celebration, took place from June 24 to June 27.

Bend-It began in 2003 as a way to create an all-ages radical Queer youth space during Pride weekend. Although it still maintains its “anti-assimilationist” and “antiageist” roots, it’s become part of the local Pride tradition as a stop off, among many, during the weekend.

This year’s Bend-It opened on Thursday at the Black Lodge (location secret as per request of venue), formerly known as the Holy Mountain, with a Queer carnival and dance party. The BendIt crew then set up a stage in Cal Anderson Park for “Queer Garden: Bands in the Park” on Friday afternoon, followed by Queer film shorts at dusk.

The show started off slowly, as the best bands were saved for last.

The Hail Seizures, an all-acoustic punk band from Olympia signed to Black Powder Records, were the highlight.

I Am Love Now Playing Tilda Swinton is the force behind the film I Am Love in more ways than one. She worked with director and friend Luca Guadagnino for 11 years to get the project finished. She served as producer and is the film’s definitive star. Swinton, speaking Italian with a Russian accent, no less, is astonishing.

From her early work with Derek Jarman to her breakout role in Sally Potter’s take on Virginia Woolf’s novel Orlando to her Oscar winning performance in Tony Gilroy’s Michael Clayton, Swinton’s singular gender-fucking look has made the camera swoon and mesmerized audiences. However, Swinton’s look is only part of her mystique. She’s also an accomplished actor, writer, artist, and producer who moves easily between the avantgarde worlds of installation art and experimental cinema and mainstream Hollywood blockbusters.

Though Swinton was instrumental in the making of I Am Love, she worked with an amazingly talented group of people including director Guadagnino, the iconic composer John Adams, cinematographer Yorick Le Saux, and the fashion houses of Jil Sander and Fendi. In addition, according to director Guadagnino, the film’s artistic roots stretch back to the likes of Luchino Visconti, Thomas Mann, Alfred Hitchcock, and Stanley Kubrick. In a peripheral manner, the film’s connections should also

truthful and lovely coming-out scenes ever to grace the silver screen. Refreshingly, the Queer character’s journey into her sexuality isn’t exploitive or politicized in any way and is intrinsic to the plot.

Delbono and Flavio Parenti (Recchi scion Edo) both turn in excellent performances that would stand out in lesser films. Marisa Berenson (matriarch Allegra Recchi), looking gorgeous, swipes a couple of scenes, as does Maria Paiato (Emma’s maid and confidant Ida).

The cinematography by Yorick Le Saux is nothing short of brilliant. Of course, working with a ‘30s-era bourgeois mansion, the architecture of Milan, and the Italian countryside above Sanremo is a good place to start for any director. However, Le Saux not only takes full advantage of these elements, he takes ownership of them, forcing them to serve his purpose and delivering a visual feast that becomes a storytelling device in purely cinematic terms.

The “prawn scene” is beautiful and transcendent without slipping over the top, which could have easily happened if the cinematographer, editor, director, and actor had not been working seamlessly.

The “prawn scene” is only exceeded in its intensity by the love scenes in the colorful grass on the hillsides above Sanremo. The slightly blown-out shots of Emma and Antonio making love amidst the wildflowers is so moving and artistically pleasing that it’s easy to make the leap from sex to passion with the characters.

This is how it should be done.

I Am Love is a film about passion, unhappiness, sex, and happiness. It’s about family and culture and how those elements can be oppressive and liberating. It’s about personal journeys and the balance between who we are and what we do. I Am Love is a sumptuous film that will leave you exhausted, breathless, and a little turned on. See it.

This is one of the few kid-centric adventures where I’ll actually admit to wanting more – more character development, more plot progression, more moments of natural emotional intimacy between the major players, whether they be good, bad, or inbetween. The problem is that Shyamalan’s brushstrokes are too brief, written is far too nondescript a shorthand, and what should ebb and flow as naturally as the tides instead comes off as bumpy, uneven, and borderline nonsensical. The movie resorts to claptrap platitudes that can be downright laughable, as the director lays the melodrama on so

Snidley Whiplash’s mustache. Whenever Shyamalan focuses on any of these four, the movie grinds to a complete halt, and while I’m sure all the actors have some sort of talent (especially in Rathbone’s case), none of them are given even the slightest chance to deliver on it here.

There are exceptions, however: both Patel and the great Shaun Toub (playing Zuko’s advisor and protector Uncle Iroh) are excellent. Shyamalan’s script gives both men something to do and complexities to play, and each of them deliver in ways that are fairly wonderful. I found myself far more immersed in their stories than I ever was in Aang’s, and as conflicted villains, these are two figures I could see myself wanting to go on journeys with again fairly easily.

It also must be stated that the director’s skills with a camera, in design and with choreography, have not diminished one bit. Even in slightly muddy 3D, The Last Airbender looks sensational – so much so that even with all my reservations, I probably wouldn’t kick or scream if someone tried to drag me to see it again in 2D. Andrew Lesnie’s (The Lovely Bones) cinematography borders on hypnotic, while Philip Messina’s (Ocean’s 13) production design suitably impresses.

The martial arts choreography, even with all the gusts of wind, bursts of fire, and plumes of water, is at times fascinating, and Shyamalan refuses to over-edit, allowing for long takes that continually impress.

Sadly, none of this ultimately matters much when the characters do not connect and the story does not resonate. While fans of the show will probably grasp and understand where all of this is going, I can’t imagine they’re going to enjoy it any more than the rest of us, and the film drowns in such lugubrious inanities and emotional simplicities that staying with it from start to finish is quite difficult. This was a movie I wanted to like much more than I actually did. So much goes wrong in The Last Airbender that even though some things go right, the movie feels like a letdown by the time everything is finally over.

They have wiped the Air Nation from the face of the planet, the Earth Nation is more or less subdued, and the Water Nation’s smallest cities are beginning to come under their control. Only the return of the Avatar, the one being with the ability to hold sway over the four elements, could derail Fire Lord Ozai’s (Cliff Curtis) plans, so his banished son Prince Zuko (Dev Patel) is searching for the warrior even though the mystical being has been missing for almost a century.

Two young warriors of the Water Nation, Katara (Nicola Peltz) and her older brother Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), come across a young boy and his gigantic fluffy pet frozen in a patch of ancient ice. Freeing him, they quickly learn he is the last surviving member of the Air Nation, that his name is Aang (Noah Ringer) and that he, in fact, is the Avatar, the potential savior of their world and the only one who can ultimately defeat the Fire Nation.

Just writing that description has my head spinning. The Last Airbender is an odd assortment of Asian mythologies that’s far denser than I imagined it could ever be.

Having never watched the hugely popular Nickelodeon cartoon series on which writer and director M. Night Shyamalan’s (The Sixth Sense, Lady in the Water) latest is based, there was no way for me to know that. There’s a lot going on and the filmmaker gamely tries to explain as much as he can as quickly as possible, and while the basic thread is fairly simplistic (wandering

I wanted depth, and the story screamed for that and more right from the start.

But it just isn’t there. The three heroes, Aang, Katara and Sokka, are hamstrung wet noodles saddled with dialogue so insanely horrible even George Lucas wouldn’t have used it for one of his Star Wars prequels.

Suzy Hunt shines as Female of the Species

The Female of the Species ACT Theatre Through July 18 There are more and more juicy parts for women in theater, thanks to more female playwrights and more open attitudes throughout the theatrical community. One such juicy role is being inhabited by talented and often under-used Suzy Hunt at ACT Theatre in Joanna Murray-Smith’s The Female of the Species. Hunt gets to chew furniture as Margot Mason, a faux-famous author of feminist tomes who gained fame for a 1970s call to arms, The Cerebral Vagina.

Mason is bombastic, opinionated, crude in the feminists-can-use-swear-words way, and also caught in her own famous net, trying to write another book in the same mode as her several others but not sure she has anything left to say.

This play is a farce, where Mason is taken hostage by a gun-wielding student and no one pays any particular attention to the danger. It’s all played for laughs and pokes fun at the years of bombast that have come out of the women’s movement. Murray-Smith ignores any of the serious issues that the women’s movement identified and explored and any of the real progress towards equal treatment in the workplace and under the law. It’s not really an exploration of any depth.

But it’s a funny ensemble-based evening with witty commentary, a few good oneliners, and actors who get to unleash their inner clowns. Under the direction of Allison Narver and with an awesomely detailed yet subtle set by Robert A. Dahlstrom of an upscale writer’s drawing room with sweep-

It used to be that if you watched too much television, you were a loser. These days, it’s the reverse. With so many great shows on network and cable TV combined, some with central Gay characters, and with storylines ranging from vampire rights to polygamy, same-sex parenting to meth labs, and from a high school chorus performing a Madonna catalog to deserted islanders vanishing away for good, it’s no wonder everyone is glued to the small screen right now to watch the best programming we’ve ever had. Which is why the list of Primetime Emmy nominees will be an interesting topic of discussion in the near future – not for who’s on it, but for who didn’t make the cut.

Among the sure bets are Jane Lynch for her portrayal of a merciless, bitch-in-atrack-suit cheerleading coach on Glee. The film and TV actress, who recently wed her longtime girlfriend, is a frontrunner for Supporting Actress in a Comedy. Out actor Neil Patrick Harris will likely receive a third consecutive nomination for playing straight womanizer Barney Stinson on How I Met Your Mother, but don’t count on him winning – he’s got stiffer competition than the previous times he’s been at bat. One of Harris’ fellow competitors could be Eric Stonestreet, the married straight actor playing a Gay married character on Modern Family.

On the drama side, Emmy voters will probably overlook Bryan Batt’s great work as a closeted marketing exec on Mad Men, but they may finally recognize Anna Paquin, an Oscar winner (The Piano) who admitted her real-life Bisexuality just weeks ago, for her role as a vampire lover in True Blood.

Reflections: The Mary Wilson Supreme Legacy Collection Experience Music Project Through September 6 Mary Wilson visited Seattle last month to introduce Reflections: The Mary Wilson Supreme Legacy Collection, an exhibition of the fabulous gowns worn by Ms. Wilson’s chart-topping trio, the Supremes, before, during, and after their historic run of 12 number-one hits from 1964 to 1969.

During her visit, a small group of writers met with Ms. Wilson at 11 a.m. and were treated to a personal tour of the exhibit by the diva herself. Ms. Wilson was relaxed, witty, and a perfectly gracious host, and as we strolled through the exhibit, she told stories and answered questions.

Ms. Wilson, along with Diana Ross and Florence Ballard, was a founding member of the group that brought the world monster hits like “Where Did Our Love Go?” and “Stop In the Name of Love.”

Reflections features over 50 gowns and costumes along with rare memorabilia and some of the earliest gowns purchased by

Ms. Wilson when the group was still known as the Primettes. You’ll also find a set of black velvet Bob Mackie gowns worn on the historic G.I.T. on Broadway television special in 1969, costumes featured on album covers, costumes worn during their 1977 farewell performance, and an emerald green maternity dress worn while Ms. Wilson was pregnant with her daughter.

Ms. Wilson’s favorite gowns are the diamond- and pearl-latticed numbers worn during the command performance for Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mother on November 24, 1968. Though these may be Ms. Wilson’s favorites, it’s impossible for amateur fashionistas like myself to toss out absolutes. The craftsmanship and artistry of each piece astounds. The history that goes along with each piece leaves you awestruck, and each gown is brilliant.

The Supremes were the first to blend high fashion with popular music and worked with numerous designers including Mackie and Michael Travis. According to Ms. Wilson, “We were just teenagers when we became the Primettes and we all shared the same passion for music and clothes.”

HMS PINAFORE SAILS WEEKENDS, JULY 9-24 Gilbert & Sullivan’s immortal HMS Pinafore gets ready for a three-week run by the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society at the Seattle Center’s Bagley Wright Theatre, the home of the Seattle Repertory Theatre. An Emerald City institution since 1954, the summer production of one of G&S’ famous operettas is always a theater highlight of the summer. Last summer, the G&S Society drew more than 10,000 musical fans, the highest number in the company’s history. Economic downturn/upturn, “staycations,” and a growing fan base all contributed to the best selling summer – ever.

This year, HMS Pinafore could easily top that figure. Running weekends for three weeks (July 9-11, 15-18, and 22-24), Pinafore is bound to delight a summer crowd – and Gilbert & Sullivan fans (often, but not always the same group).

In a clever programming feature, the Society will pair the full-length Pinafore with the short (and rarely performed) one-act Cox & Box. The one act was last produced by the Society in 1985. Pinafore was staged in 2004 – the company’s 50th anniversary season.

from a long-running Ziegfeld Follies-type production series and a painful examination of the follies of life – Follies has always had a tough time “finding” its audience. (An outstanding production at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Musical Theatre many years ago was superb, but sold fewer single tickets – and generated more subscription complaints – than any show in the company’s history.)

The recent June staging of Follies at the Moore welcomed Showtunes to its new downtown venue and set the bar high for future Showtunes/Charnin stagings. A February 10th anniversary celebration for Showtunes tested the Moore and the loyal subscribers willingness to follow the company. That musical delight – supervised by Charnin – suggested that Showtunes was back on track after a rocky ninth season.

Follies confirmed it.

Using a cast primarily of Seattle-based performers, Follies hit new highs for the company.

The four leads were uniformly excellent: Anna Lauris Boynton as the uncertain Sally, Beth DeVries as the caustic Phyllis, Bob DeDea as the tormented Buddy, and Michael Mendiola as the jaded Ben. The four actors – and the four younger versions of the same characters – were all sensational. The dialog scenes – Follies has a “book”

by James Goldman – were solid and the song-and-sometimes-dance sections were stunning.

Show-stopping moments were provided by Seattle performers with strong reputations. Bobbi Kotula, always an audience favorite in cabaret or in full musicals, simply stopped the show with Carlotta’s survival anthem, “I’m Still Here.” Ann Evans – another local performer with a solid fan base – did the same with “Broadway Baby,” the show’s tribute to the wide-eyed innocent who’s ready to take Broadway by storm.

All the featured roles were strong. The musical direction, by Mark Rabe, was a strong element of the show’s success. Victor Pappas’ on-target direction was also a first class plus. After some rocky years, Showtunes seems destined for continued – and downtown – success.

Next on the Showtunes’ schedule is a truly “lost” musical. Irving Berlin’s Call Me Madam, an old-fashioned vehicle for Ethel Merman, runs Saturday, September 25 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, September 26 with a 2 p.m. matinee. Carly’s Sound Mercy had enjoyed Ali Vali’s book, Calling the Dead, so she was inspired to go looking by other books of hers. Carly’s Sound had come out quite a bit earlier and was equally fun. It deals with a woman named Poppy, whose long relationship with a woman named Carly ended with the latter’s death. Poppy had started out poor, but become successful buying and running resorts. After Carly’s death, Poppy plans to memorialize her partner with the best resort she has ever created.

Salgado has a lot to celebrate. Two years ago, he was diagnosed with liver cancer and told he had eight months to live unless he got a liver transplant, which would generate medical bills upwards of half a million dollars. Raleigh Durham Sights Mercy, Cuteness and Equality spent Pride weekend in the Raleigh Durham area. Unfortunately, that community’s Pride celebration takes place in September because of the 100-degree weather in June.

They loved the Morehead Manor B&B, with its great art and decoration and goodhumored hosts, Monica and Daniel Edwards. (www.moreheadmanor.com) The B&B is close to the Durham Bulls Athletic field, which was where the movie Bull Durham was made. There will be a full review in the next travel edition.

The North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh has some amazing pieces: a Picasso, a Breughel, two Monets, and 25 Rodins.

The North Carolina Museum of Science had some cool fossils. Equality showed Mercy how to play “find the tree toads” in a terrarium.

Seattle Symphony with Misha Dichter June 25 Benaroya Hall Music Director Gerard Schwarz didn’t do Leonard Bernstein any favors by programming William Schuman’s masterful “Symphony No. 3” on a program celebrating Lenny.

The Schuman, composed in 1941, is as much a concerto for orchestra as it is a symphony. Each section of the orchestra gets brilliant moments in the spotlight, even giving special attention to the underappreciated sections such as the violas. The woodwinds, so often star soloists in most works, actually took a backseat to spectacular writing for the brass and strings. The brass in particular gave this piece its distinctly American sound, and the Seattle Symphony polished that sound beautifully.

The four movements were each fashioned in baroque forms: Passacaglia, Fugue, Chorale, and Toccata. Schuman left me in awe of his compositional skills, both of these older forms and in his use of the orchestral choirs.

The SSO played his music with utter clarity, gorgeous sound, and perfect balances.

The overall effect was neatness and control.

The only thing I found a little lacking was emotional content, but perhaps that wasn’t Schuman’s focus.

Bernstein, on the other hand, was all about heart. Next to the Schuman, Bernstein’s writing seemed messy, rather like comparing the sound of The Rolling Stones to that of the Beatles – screaming passion vs. neat, almost four-square songs.

Nowhere in Lenny’s classical works does he show his heart more than in the lovely “Chichester Psalms.” The almost sentimental warmth of these is hard to resist. Written for an English audience, the inclusion of a beautiful part for boy soprano is no accident.

The eleven-year-old Benjamin Richardson gave an absolutely confident and lovely account of his gracious music. There’s nothing messy about these psalms, and only occasionally did Bernstein’s jazzy Americanisms suggest themselves. As if echoing the minor role played by the woodwinds in the Schuman, Bernstein here omitted them altogether! Instead there was, of course, the whole Seattle Symphony Chorale, which sang with its usual warmth and splendor.

In his “Symphony No. 2, ‘The Age of Anxiety,’” however, the composer gave himself much free reign, using an eclectic palette that included modern dissonances, complex rhythms, a 12-tone row, jazzy elements, and traditional harmony stirred into a warm, romantic lyricism. Tidiness was not part of the organizational plan. The work employed a sometimes almost literal relationship to W.H. Auden’s poem of the same name. The programmatic elements, Bernstein claimed, had “written themselves”

On Saturday, Bend-It kicked off the “Big Gay Field Day” at Cal Anderson, then held a Queer variety show on their main stage. The variety show primarily featured theatre, poetry, and burlesque. Like the day prior, the best was saved for last when Paris Original, boylesque’s prima ballerina, took the stage.

Bend-It came to a close on Sunday at the Richard Hugo house with spoken word poetry performances.

The Bend-It Extravaganza is a great place to kick up your heels up during Pride Weekend and see a show for free, as well as get some free vegan food, which they offer nightly if you register with them. Registration is completely free and it gets them grant money to keep the tradition alive. So, if you didn’t catch it this year, make sure you stop by next time around.

Paris Original is the best thing to happen to boylesque since Waxie Moon, who pioneered the art form. With years of classical dance training under his belt, Paris can and will send even straight boys into a whirling frenzy as he moves across the stage with utmost grace.You may have seen Paris perform recently on the main stage of the 2010 Seattle Erotic Art Festival.

Asia. Hosted by Aleksa Manila, Pride Asia featured various drag performances from the Northwest Asian LGBT community.

Pride Asia organizers were happy to put on a Pride event specifically for the LGBT Asian community in Seattle, however the greater Seattle community was welcome to the event.

Pride Asia was intended to celebrate the diversity of LGBT Asian community itself.

Host Aleksa Manila asked every patron how to say “Happy Pride!” in their native language, bringing them onstage to teach the audience.

“The diversity of the Asian/Pacific Islander LGBTQQI community is as colorful and magical as the rainbow that symbolizes our Queer community. Proceeds went to benefit Lambert House, a center for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning youth that encourages empowerment through the development of leadership, social and life skills.

Celebrating 37 Years!

the hit “If I Never See Your Face Again” with Maroon 5, announced the cancellation of her White River Amphitheatre concert just hours before the start of Sunday’s big parade. Due to production changes – a diva moment, perhaps – Rihanna is now kicking off her tour in Vancouver, B.C. two nights later than initially planned. She apologizes to her Seattle fans, and she should, because this was one of summer’s most anticipated live performances. Ticket refunds are available at the original point of purchase.

Scissor Sisters are back and they’re bigger, better, and Gayer. The glammy foursome just came out with Night Work, their third album and follow-up to 2006’s TahDah. This is a sexier, vampire, and more stylish record than anything Scissor Sisters has previously released – it’s late-night disco meets sex in a parking lot; flirtatious and unabashed with nothing but a good time on its mind. Beginning to end, Night Work is a fun listen and one of 2010’s surprisingly coolest albums – go directly to the closing tracks, “Sex and Violence,” “Night Life,” and “Invisible Light” (featuring Sir Ian McKellen in spoken word) for the CD’s best cuts. Night Work is now available at all music stores, including Easy Street Records.

In a music genre with no shortage of eye candy, country artist Dierks Bentley stands out from the pack. Thank goodness he has a critically acclaimed resume to match that doll face, or else I’d be sounding like a troll at a Nashville rest stop. Bentley’s newest work, Up on the Ridge, should rake in multiple CMA and Grammy nominations before year’s end, and it will probably wind up on several best-of lists for its soothing mix of urban country and traditional bluegrass. The busy singer-songwriter and part-time radio show host travels to this neck of the woods on September 18 for a performance at The Puyallup Fair (www.thefair.com). The show benefits Bentley’s charity “Miles and Music for Kids,” which begins with a tailgate party and bike ride to the concert venue. I plan on being there, if only to see Bentley park his beautiful seat on a Harley. Um, Brad Paisley who?

Lady Antebellum is making their way back to the Emerald City, this time as a headlining act. The Grammy and ACM-winning trio are set to perform October 25 at WaMu Theater. Tickets go on sale July 10.

Finally, if you wondered whether Taylor Dayne was ringing up sale items at Old Navy – she isn’t. The ‘80s pop diva just wrote and recorded “Facing a Miracle,” the theme song for the 2010 Gay Games. The tune can be listened to on YouTube and will be available on iTunes in the coming weeks.

namic from a narrative standpoint. We get to see the vampire army being built, the alliance being made, and the training for the upcoming battle. We also get a bit of backstory on a couple of the Cullen clan, which is great fun.

The central story, the love triangle, is also more interesting. Bella’s choice between Edward and Jacob is essentially choosing between life and death – or hot and cold, if we buy into the tortured metaphor tortured further by Bella’s tortured reading of Robert Frost’s tortured poem Fire and Ice. Though she loves them both, Edward is pure infatuation and forbidden fruit that can only be had by dying and who can never hope to bring real warmth to their physical relationship. Jacob, on the other hand, is pure blood-pumping physicality and sexual resonance, who offers a life filled with heat and sunshine and presumably lots of hot wolfie sex. Now things are getting interesting.

Both the backdrop narrative and the more mature dynamics of the love triangle work to increase the tension of the entire movie.

Director David Slade is directly responsible for this welcome change in the Twilight series. If you doubt Slade’s ability to manipulate tension, rent his 2005 directorial debut Hard Candy, starring Ellen Page, and see for yourself that this is no aberration.

Thankfully, Slade also infused his flick with a good sense of humor and even a couple of self-deprecating jokes that give the audience a break from all the tweener melodrama. Billy Burk (Charlie Swan) delivers a couple of brilliant comic moments, and Edward’s reference to Jacob’s proclivity for shirtlessness is just good clean fun. There are still a couple of groaners in the dialogue, but that’s easily overlooked as the whole film is infused with a lighter tone.

By the way, lay off Kristin Stewart (Bella Swan, for the two people in Enumclaw who didn’t know); the girl can act. Stewart’s had a tough job selling all the contrived wistfulness of her Twilight character. She has a little more to do in Eclipse and she makes the most of it. She was also amazing in The Runaways and Into the Wild, and turned in a solid performance as Jody Foster’s diabetic daughter in Panic Room.

I believe she’s also working hard to be a bit more engaged and a bit less saturnine when doing press and making appearances.

I’ve taken her to task for being a moody ingrate, but most teenagers go through a little of that, and they aren’t in the extraordinary position that Stewart’s in. I see her maturing and making an effort, so I think we should give her a break.

Lautner got a nose job since New Moon, which I personally find disappointing. However, the boys are still pretty, and Lautner is finally old enough that I don’t feel creepy when I ogle him and his new nose and his abs. Both characters are pretty much assholes, and I really wish Bella would hook up with Alice Cullen and tell them both to get continued from cover lost.
