Like many of you, I am disappointed that we cannot gather together in person this year. However, by gathering virtually, we can bring together the SMS community from all corners of the globe to celebrate SMS and raise funds for the Scholarship Fund.

Dear SMS Community, On behalf of the Stratton Mountain School Board of Trustees, welcome to the 2022 Winter Ball and the kick-off to our 50th Anniversary year.

While we are disappointed that we cannot gather in person, we are truly grateful for the generosity shown by the SMS community. Your continued support for this event makes the SMS experience available to the next generation of talented student-athletes.

From our humble beginnings as a winter-term program with classes taught around dining room tables to our beautiful World Cup Circle campus, we have experienced meteoric success over the past five decades. With more than 120 National Team placements, 75 Olympic placements, and acceptances to the nation’s top-tier colleges, we have much to be proud of throughout our 50-year history.

Thank you for being a part of it all. We couldn’t celebrate a half-century without our incredible community.

I hope you will save the date for our Community Celebration on Saturday, June 11th, when we will induct the inaugural class of the Stratton Mountain School Hall of Fame, followed by a lively party on Luckenbill Field to celebrate 50 years of SMS! It is sure to be a memorable evening.
