FROM THE HEADTEACHER
Iam delighted to be able to share with you the finding of the Independent School Inspectorate who visited Chinthurst in the week following the February half term break. During their three-day visit, a team of three inspectors observed multiple lessons, thoroughly checked our systems, and spoke to different groups of staff and children. Following this rigorously review, they have judged Chinthurst to be ‘Excellent in All Areas’ which is the highest category they can award to a school. This is a wonderful outcome and a lovely accolade for the whole Chinthurst community to receive. The full report can be found on our website and I do hope you will take a moment to read it.
Throughout the report, it is clear that the inspectors were hugely impressed with all areas of the school, from academics and pastoral care right through to Spanish and our nursery provision. In their verbal feedback to us, the inspectors described the children as ‘stunning’ and told us that they had been delighted by their kindness, maturity and general happiness. Isn’t that wonderful?
