Offering teams to enjoy a competitive tournament in a stunning destination. The 3-day tournament will encourage teams from Europe, UK as well as the hosting nations teams. The tournament is open to Netball, Football and Hockey clubs, associations and school teams for U14 - U16’s.

The Campion Youth Games has been created with not only the sport and competition in mind but also to educate the youth in well being, the opportunities available off the pitch and to develop their skills in one of the workshops available throughout the tournament.

THE GAMES the games have been structured to allow a balanced competition. Our aim is to ensure that all players compete in a fair, safe environment and for these reasons we have created The Championship Trophy for each age group. Players will be matched according to their age and ability, ensuring an enjoyable and competitive tournament. The officials at The Games are all fully qualified and follow Gibraltar’s Sports authority guidelines. It is our utmost responsibility to ensure we create a safe environment for the players and team members.

The 3 day tournament will allow players to compete, learn and enjoy the attractions Gibraltar has to offer. Thursday and Friday are dedicated competition days with plenty of time to relax at leisure. Finals will be played on the Saturday afternoon followed by trophy and medal presentation at the Gala.

PROGRAMME OF EVENTS

midterm - October 2022

day 1 The Games coach shuttle will be at Gibraltar and Malaga Airport to transfer you to your selected accommodation. Once checked-in, you have the rest of the day at leisure to discover Gibraltar or relax.

day 2-3 The Games will proceed once all players have completed their registration. All players will receive a Games bracelet which will allow access to the sports venues, attractions, bus hopper and games food outlets. When not competing, players can explore and enjoy the activity bundle. day 4 Today is the finals day! All teams will be competing for the a chance to raise The Championship Trophy.

All games will be held throughout the morning and will conclude early afternoon. The Gala will bring the Games to an end with the presentation of medals and trophies. An enjoyable evening with live entertainment and celebration of friendship.

day 5 After breakfast, coaches will be ready for those returning home. See you next year!

GIBRALTAR gibraltar is located in the southern point of the peninsula and is well known for the dramatic landscape of the famous “Rock” that can be seen for miles around. The quaint and picturesque town is dominated by British and Genoese influence and homes some of the main British shopping brands.

Gibraltar is small however really did show its worth in the Sporting World in 2019 when Gibraltar hosted the International Island Games - this was a huge success and certainly put Gibraltar on the map.

There is a great deal of things to do and see whilst in Gibraltar and we have put together our top things that everyone should do and see whilst they visit.

ACTIVITIES nature reserve - Visit the Gibraltar Nature Reserve where you will experience the “Rock” of Gibraltar.

Adventuring through the reserve you will be able to visit some of Gibraltar’s most iconic attractions such as the Skywalk, Windsor Bridge and St Michael’s Cave. sup - Enjoy Stand Up Paddle (SUP) boarding at Sandy Bay, one of Gibraltar’s beaches. The SUP team will look after you and ensure that you have a great time with your friends whilst learning a new skill. dolphins - Enjoy a catamaran ride out on the Strait of Gibraltar and be surrounded by our diverse marine life.

See first hand the different species that make the waters around Gibraltar so special, like the short beaked common and striped Dolphins. The knowledgeable crew on board will ensure that the trip is as informative as it is fun. bowling - Within a military fortress once used to defend Gibraltar in the 18th century you will find Gibraltar’s 14 lane bowling alley at King’s Bastion Leisure Centre, which boasts a fun atmosphere everyone will enjoy. cable car - Take a 10 minute ride to the top of the Rock!

Sitting at 412 meters above sea level, the Cable Car top station is in the unique position to offer breathtaking views of 3 countries and 2 continents from it’s panoramic viewing terraces. Morocco and North Africa lie across the straits to the south, the Spanish Andalusian coastline to the north and west and the entirety of Gibraltar can be seen below.
