Our Setting

We have three classrooms, a cosy reading nook, snug, holly house, outdoor canopy and large outdoor area in Reception. Children use all these spaces and the rich variety of provision that we have across the setting.

We are passionate about creating a setting which is calming, nurturing, and full of openended and exciting resources which spark curiosity and interest.

In Reception we believe in the importance of play and the children having the time and opportunity to initiate their own play projects.

We have ‘continuous provision areas’ which enable children to return and build on their play projects and develop their skills, creativity and independence. We add enhancements (special resources) to these areas which link to the children’s interests and seasonal themes.
