He revives my soul and guides me along right pathways for his Name's sake.
O God of grace and glory, we remember before you this day our sister Lois. We thank you for giving her to us, her family and friends, to know and to love as a companion on our earthly pilgrimage. In your boundless compassion, console us who mourn. Give us faith to see in death the gate of eternal life, so that in quiet confidence we may continue our course on earth, until, by your call, we are reunited with those who have gone before; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Most merciful God, whose wisdom is beyond our understanding: Deal graciously with Lois’s family and friends in their grief. Surround them with your love, that they may not be overwhelmed by their loss, but have confidence in your goodness, and strength to meet the days to come; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Isaiah 40:10–12 See, the Sovereignpower, he rulesa mighty arm. See, his rewardwith him, his recompense accompanies him. He tends his flock like a shepherd: gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; gently leadsthat have young. Who has measured the watersthe hollow of his hand, with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance?

Dominus regit me

I shall fear no evil; for you are with me;
