Thank you for attending the 2021 St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School auction: Let the Games Begin! For 42 years we have celebrated the students, teachers, and staff with an evening of fun and fellowship. This year’s event looks different, but that doesn’t change the energy or excitement as we celebrate our special school community. The auction proceeds go to the school’s bottom line – funding updated playgrounds, tuition assistance, teacher salaries, and keeping the lights on! Auction Protocol
• All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds. • Tax deductions and other tax considerations are the responsibility of the purchaser. Only the amount paid in excess of the fair market value of a purchased item (if any) may be considered a charitable contribution by the purchaser. Purchasers will receive a statement of fair market value for items purchased at the auction; the stated value of those items are the donors’ estimates and are not warranted by St. Paul’s for tax purposes or general value. • Please honor the terms and conditions of any item you buy. All auction items and services must be used by the dates specified. Gift certificates are valid for one year unless otherwise noted.
Silent and Super Silent Auction Guidelines
• Visit www.speds.org/auction to register. • You must be registered to place bids, purchases or donations. • The silent and super silent auction opens at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4. • GiveSmart is the final authority on all sales. • Bidding for silent and super silent items will close at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6.

Bidding
• Access the campaign - Click the blue link within the Welcome text or personal link button from within the Welcome email. • Choose item - From our Home page, click “Items”, browse or use the dropdown menu to view categories, then select an item. • Choose amount - Use the pre-populated minimum bid or enter a higher amount. • You may select select AUTO BID, enter the highest amount you are willing to bid. The system will place minimum bids for you as needed until your designated amount. • Click Bid. • You will receive a text message if you are outbid.

Visit the Pay page at the top of the screen. Review the purchase summary. Enter a credit card or use the one on file. Click Pay. Once payment is secured, a red Pay Stamp appears. A receipt is automatically sent to the email address in your user account. • All processed credit card payments are subject to 3.95% processing fee for AMEX and 3.5% for all other cards.

Items purchased will be available for pick-up at the cafeteria entrance of St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School during the following times: • Sunday, March 7 – 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. • Monday, March 8 – 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Please pull up on Walnut Street to the cafeteria entrance of the school and wait in your car. A volunteer will get your name and load your item(s) into the back of your car. Items will not be sent home with students.

FUND-A-VISION FOR OUTDOOR PLAY
Through the 2020 Fund-A-Vision at last year’s auction, St. Paul’s parents raised nearly $50,000 toward our first playground transformation! While the school had to pause and tackle the challenges of safely returning to campus last fall, they never lost the vision for new outdoor play spaces. Thanks to many generous donations, we are thrilled to announce that work on the West Playground will begin this summer! Students will be enjoying the new space in fall 2021. Our work is not yet done! This year, please join us in the next stage of the plan: the South Playground (aka, the Starbucks Playground.) The Fund-AVision money we raise this year will purchase equipment, resurfacing, and landscaping for this reimagined play space. The South Playground is one that all our children will use for many of their years at St. Paul’s. Let’s make it a space to expand and enhance their learning in the classroom.
