AUCTION 26/10/2019

27 Leonard Street, Cessnock Welcome to the 10th edition of Stone Property News. Last edition we reported a busy start to the financial year. Well that has certainly continued with our office recording 55 sales for the first quarter to 30th September. If you are wondering where our buyers are coming from, we have broken down the stats for you: Stats for the quarter:

Who is buying:

› Total sales: 55 sales in 92 days › Open homes conducted: 298 › Buyers met at open homes: 490

› 5 properties (9%) were sold to investors › 20 properties (36%) were sold to first home buyers › 30 properties (55%) were sold to existing home owners

Stats for buyers:

› 61% were from out-of-the-area › 39% were living locally

I feel the statistics above show positive signs for our market with both the re-emergence of investors as indicated in our last newsletter and the high percentage of 1st home buyers securing their property This kind of buyer activity has certainly resulted in less available properties for buyers to choose from, so if you are considering selling please give me a call today.
