As number one supplier of Lot 3 of the NDNA framework, we’re able to also offer the additional support and services.

Autopilot or SCCM Imaging

Windows Autopilot helps organizations easily provision new devices by using the preinstalled OEM image and drivers. This lets end users get their devices businessready by using a simple process. Windows Autopilot can also provide a preprovisioning service that helps partners or IT staff pre-provision a fully configured and business-ready Windows PC. From the end user’s perspective, the Windows Autopilot user-driven experience is unchanged, but getting their device to a fully provisioned state is faster.

With Windows Autopilot for pre-provisioned deployment, the provisioning process is split. The time-consuming portions are done by Stone at our factory HQ. The end user simply completes a few necessary settings and policies and then they can begin using their device.

Using Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), we are able to configure your machines with the image, apps and driver that you need and also connect this to the domain and register it with your SCCM system, through our SCCM distribution point at our HQ in Stafford.

Repair Centre

Our dedicated repair centre has the ability to offer repairs for all aspects of your devices from screen repairs to memory, offering a quick and hassle free process of repairing your device. We’re an authorised repair centre for Acer as well as other leading brands so you can be assured that the repair process will be carried out with full knowledge of your device.

Recycling

With our onsite recycling facility, we are able to assure you that your assets will be carried out and disposed of securely. We also offer free collections in our GPS tracked vehicles.

Own Vans and Drivers

Our Stone branded vans are fitted with load weighting and cameras along with an added turnsafe system to ensure the safety of transportation of your assets as well as our drivers. We’re able to offer a next business day collection of assets with a five-day turnaround and fixed delivery days where required.

Free delivery is applicable for all purchases and volume discounts are negotiable for purchases that meet the requirement of 25 units and above.

Warranty Options

Desktops

All Desktops supplied via NDNA will carry a minimum 3 Year On Site Next Business Day Warranty –serviced by Stone’s own Regional Field-Based Engineers. All fault calls logged with the Stone Support Desk by 4.00pm will receive a Next Business Day response.

Notebooks/Mobile devices

All Notebooks & Mobile devices (HP and Acer) supplied by Stone via NDNA will carry a minimum of 3 Year Warranty. There is the option of taking this Warranty as Collect-Repair-Return, or On Site (please note that Tablet-type devices tend to be available with Collect-Repair-Return only).

Stone will as standard, pick up all of the Warranty provision for Acer, via our own Support network. All fault calls logged with the Stone Support Desk by 4.00pm will receive a Next Business Day response.

NDNA Portal

The NDNA portal can be accessed via https://portal.stonegroup.co.uk/ offering full access to our Stone, HP and Acer product range.

The portal has been designed to allow you to browse with ease on your own personalised, secure site where you can view our latest product range with details of standard pricing and pricing excluding VAT. Here’s an overview of some of the features:

IP Protection Status, Use of Cookies and Password and Quote Authentication

Access to the Stone Portal is restricted by either IP address or password authentication. When accessing the portal using IP based access, password authentication is still required to place an order and to save/retrieve a quote. Cookies are used to store information that allows the portal to function. Users must allow cookies in order to access the portal.

Availability of Member Micro-sites

The Stone portal doesn’t operate micro-sites. However, the portal does support institution specific product catalogues and these are accessed in the same way as the standard product range. Where an institution has specific configurations, these will be listed under the ‘My Devices’ tab on the portal.

Access Levels

The portal can be set up to allow managers a higher level of access than other users. This is useful if your organisation needs to allow some users to browse only, or to require approval to raise orders.

Full Order History

As well as showing those placed through the portal, the Full Order History page also shows all orders placed with Stone – including previous and recent offline orders.

Flexible Product Selection

The portal includes advanced filtering on the category pages to allow you to drill down to devices that meet your exact requirements, without having to scroll through dozens of pages.

Purchase or Quote

You can browse and add items to your basket as normal, together with any chosen configuration options. You can then either purchase or turn the basket into a quote for approval.

Pay by Credit Card or Purchase Order

The portal allows instant payment by all major credit and debit cards, or orders can be placed with a Purchase Order number.

Summary Integration Status

The portal supports punchout and integration with Jaggaer (formerly SciQuest), Science Warehouse, Basware, Cloud Buy and Pecos. Other providers are supported and can be configured on request. Lead time for setting up punchout is approximately 6 weeks, subject to successful user testing. We also have the capabilities of receiving purchase orders via cXML and support e-invoicing and PO flip.

NDNA Portal

Historical Sales Information

All orders placed through the portal are available to view through the ‘My Account’ section. Each institution has full visibility of all orders placed online and offline orders.

Track and Trace

Once an order has been dispatched, tracking information will be uploaded to the portal and a dispatch confirmation email will be sent to the email address associated with the order.

Change Notification Information

In the first instance, you will need to contact your Account Manager for all device related changes. For any technical changes, IP access and punchout support please contact portal@stonegroup.co.uk.

Additional Information

User management is handled either by the Stone Account Manager or the primary contact within the university’s procurement team. When enabled, self-registration allows for the institution to grant access to users and define their permissions within the portal.

Staff and Student Portal

The staff and student portal is available at www.getyourtech.co.uk. Customers are required to upload proof of eligibility at the point of ordering. As with the Stone Portal, access to the site is restricted to known IP ranges of institutions. When accessing the site from an unknown IP address, users are required to register using and authenticated university domain in order to access the site. If any domains are missing from the list, these should be reported to the Portal Support team: portal@stonegroup.co.uk.

Usual Exclusions

Inherent defects, wear and tear: Faulty of defective workmanship, general wear and tear and mechanical or electrical breakdown

Unattended equipment: Stolen equipment that’s been left in a public place unattended, or a vehicle that’s not been securely locked

Misshandling of equipment: Intentional acts where negligence of equipment has occurred by you, or has not been handled in accordance with the manufactured guidelines

Use by others: As an educational establishment, anyone other than the registered employees and students authorised to use the equipment
