He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Every time we encounter a Stonecroft woman who is reaching her community, we are reminded of the incredible faith and dedication that fuels this ministry
This is a ministry full of humble legends - quiet giants doing Kingdom work whether anyone notices or not. The approval of others is irrelevant to them They serve because God calls them, and that calling alone sustains them.
In this issue, we hope you’ll catch a glimpse of the vision these faithful women hold for doing whatever it takes to share the Gospel While we often look back and honor our founder’s passion for seeing people meet Jesus, we sometimes overlook those who are making enormous impact right now, every single day
But here’s the secret they would share with you: It’s not about being special or uniquely gifted. God doesn’t reserve His work for the “exceptional.” Instead, He is looking for those who are willing Anyone who raises their hand and says, “Here I am, Lord” can be amazed by what He does
Enjoy these stories and be inspired by them Pray for God to give you eyes to see the world the way He sees it, and then prepare for Him to move Dream big, and trust that He will equip you for whatever He calls you to do. If you ’ re ready and you’d like some support to take action, check out the practical tools and resources in the Three Simple Steps article starting on page 41 – designed to support you as you step out in faith
Now, go live boldly like these Stonecroft women -- and watch God move. We can't wait to hear YOUR story!
Blessings,
Over the past few months, Stonecroft’s board and staff have come together to thoughtfully reaffirm our mission, vision, and values. These guiding principles are more than words on paper they shape the heart of our ministry and how we serve others. Throughout this edition of Invited, you’ll find our six organizational values detailed, each with a description that reflects their meaning and impact on our work.
But our values truly come to life through the actions and stories of those who live them out. Throughout this edition of Invited, you will read powerful testimonies of how God has worked through the lives of Stonecroft women to embody these values in real and tangible ways. These stories not only inspire us, but they remind us of the deep, transformative power of living with intention and faith. Together, we are called to reflect Christ's love, hope, and grace to the world these values are the foundation of that calling.
Organizational Value:
We hold ourselves accountable through processes and programs that foster innovation, promote measurable kingdom impact, multiply evangelistic leaders, and promote accountability.

I wiggled my toes uncomfortably at the edge of the platform The late autumn New England breeze could be felt high amongthetreesasmyfingersclaspedthe harness that connected me to the rope. I was not one typically scared of heights However, as I stood high above my team intheforestsofConnecticut,Ihesitated
Two months earlier, I had taken a jump off of a small cliff into the waters of Tenkiller Lake My lack of experience showed as I did not get my legs back underneath me as quickly as I should, and the result was a fractured bone that still was healing The experience played like a recording over and over in my mind as I stood between the limbs I was helping lead an outreach team as we built trust and dreamed for the future The ropes course in Connecticut was part of our service trip where we served and planned together for our work I could feel the weight of my responsibility and my very recent failure as my teammates below began to offer encouragement and surprise as fear began to paralyze me The more I thought about it, the stiffer I became. I just couldn’t experience the pain of jumping into another unknown.
Our brains rewire themselves when we concentrate on pain. The more we think about pain, the more anxiety and stress it creates. We begin to redefine the way our mind recognizes the intensity or threat of it. I truly believe God gave us the ability to experience pain so we could make wiser choices about our safety, health, and well-being. However, when we hyperfocus on it, it arrests our thoughts and imagination Fear and avoidance begin to hold us hostage.
We need a new imagination.
We need something new to see, dream, and think about.
We need vision.
Proverbs 29:18 reminds us that without a vision, people perish. The word vision here is a mental picture, a dream It’s a future picture revealed to us about what could be
Even so, what is fascinating is that without vision, we suffer.
The leadership at Stonecroft took to our knees in prayer, asking for a holy imagination We wanted a picture of what could be, something we could work towards and dream towards that would give us hope and courage It did not come in the form of anything new, but rather a return to our simple vision of seeing every woman reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.
We want to be clear about our call of evangelism – the work of prayer and the work of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus We want to trust and rely on the Holy Spirit as we engage in the sacred work of sharing the Gospel. We do it together, with clarity, focus, and tenacity
That is why we have taken this last season to listen, repent, dream, simplify and clarify We are laying the groundwork of deep prayer and good process that we hope will create the structure needed for Stonecroft to see her best years ahead of her
We want to trust and rely on the Holy Spirit as we engage in the sacred work of sharing the

Our audacious goal is clear We want to see a Stonecroft initiative in every U.S. zip code in the next 10 years. This means women who are praying evangelistically, leading bible studies with seekers, and hosting outreach events in approximately 40,000 locations across the country We are not stopping there
We are dreaming of Stonecroft initiatives in 60 countries around the world. We are boldly asking God to open doors for us to reach women in places where we used to be, but also have never been God can do it!
We accomplish that vision by mobilizing women to pray and proclaim the gospel In your apartment complex, farm town, neighborhood, retirement community or Zoom room. Every woman should feel confident and equipped to be able to discern where God might be leading her to share her faith We want her to know she is not doing it alone. Stonecroft is a tribe of women praying for her and cheering her on.
The last few months, we have embraced the hard work of being clear about our mission, vision, and values. Our first organizational value, “Leading with Love”, means that we say our best yes to the things that drive our mission forward It also means we say our “ no ” and “not yet” to things that distract us from fulfilling our unique calling in the body of Christ Our changes are offered out of a commitment to loving both our current volunteers and the leaders yet to come It means we adopt processes and policies that reflect integrity and good stewardship, honoring our standing as an organization and also the amazing generosity of the leaders that support us
My heart is to fiercely serve a ministry that continues to flourish That we erupt with stories of hope and boldness as we see women take their first, second, one hundredth faithful step in their community to share the Gospel As we see women in every US zip code, and across the world, begin to pray evangelistically or start an outreach group, I want to look back in ten years and say, “Look what the Lord has done!” Can you imagine?
It requires change, and change can feel scary. Simplifying, clarifying, improving process all can inspire fear You may be standing terrified on that platform too. I get it
To Stonecroft nation, to my fierce tribe of wonderful and courageous women, I am inviting you in 2025 to “see” this vision with me. Every zip code 60 countries Every woman with an opportunity to hear that Jesus loves her This is not a jump into the unknown This is us holding hands together and taking the leap, into a glorious, Godinspired future It is us going after the mission with our whole hearts, unafraid For the love of Jesus and the love of the lost. Let’s go!
Organizational Value:
We reflect God's love for us by initiating and responding out of love for each other and those who do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Eliza Cortés Bast & Elaine Watkins
We sat down with Eliza Cortés Bast, Stonecroft’s CEO, and Elaine Watkins, President and COO, to discuss the vision, mission, structure, values, and future of the ministry. Since stepping into leadership, they have worked to strengthen Stonecroft’s processes and outreach while looking ahead to where God is leading.
The bold vision of Stonecroft is to see every woman reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. The mission of Stonecroft is to mobilize a movement of Christian women to pray and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For over 86 years, we help women grow in faith and connect with others, particularly those who may not yet know God.
Stonecroft seeks to meet h they are, sharing personal creating a supportive, community. “We envision gathering for Outreach gro Study everywhere, in every 60 countries,” says Eliza have come from traditio voices were limited, b provides a space for wom leaders, cultivating an where their leadership encouraged.”
Elaine adds, “We think God has given us a bold and audacious goal, but we have a bold and audacious God who is going to equip us in unique ways and connect us with people who have the same vision – to see every woman reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.”
At the heart of Stonecroft is the "Stonecroft woman" a passionate individual driven by a deep desire to share the love of Jesus Christ These women embody the organization's core values:
Elaine shares her excitement about the women yet to be reached, expressing gratitude for the faithfulness of those who have helped pave the way. She encourages anyone uncertain about their role to reach out assuring them
“What makes Stonecroft unique is its focus on empowering women leaders within a redemptive community, rooted in the spirit of Acts 2,” said Eliza. “Just as the early church built a community of believers who shared life, resources, and a mission to spread the Gospel, Stonecroft fosters a similar environment where women support each other, share stories, and work together in faith.” This strong sense of community, combined with the organization’s focus on evangelism through leadership development, is what makes Stonecroft an enduring force in ministry.
“Our work,” Eliza continues, “even with our outreach events, has always been based upon the simple premise of opening a table and being able to ask somebody to share their story, and to be able to lean in and ask questions that allow people to explore their own faith journey, and their own doubt.”
Stonecroft is structured as a 501(c)3 organization, which means the IRS recognizes us as a nonprofit Because we are a nonprofit organization, we have certain laws that we have to abide by
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Stonecroft is required to be governed by a single National Board that ensures financial integrity through adherence to
both IRS and Evangelical Council of Financial Accountability (ECFA) standards. This level of accountability builds trust and ensures resources are stewarded wisely. We voluntarily and purposely adhere to their guidelines to be able to help people understand that we take the responsibility of being able to steward resources that God gives us seriously
This matters to each Outreach group because each of the groups is able to use our identifying number assigned by the IRS. This is called our EIN. When you open your group account, this allows you to be able to raise funds for Stonecroft ministries within your group.
Stonecroft’s staff operates in five key areas:
Outreach: Equips and trains groups and leaders with resources to have an impact in their area.
Operations: Manages finances, technology, and organizational support
Marketing: Communicates the impact of Stonecroft’s mission and provides engagement opportunities to help you connect more deeply Fundraising: Connects donors with the ministry to sustain and expand outreach by telling sto faithfulness and goodne Administration: Han communication, Huma project management, an
Together, we are here to movement alongside you, volunteers!
How is Stonecroft funded and what does the funding do?
Stonecroft is funded through the generosity of people who truly believe in our mission. It could be individuals, churches or even foundations They are peoplewhowanttoseewomenimpacted by God's love It's really a faithful giver who has experienced the ministry, who feels called to support us, and who wantstohelpusgrow.
These contributions enable national staff to provide leadership, training, and community support. Funding also sustains resources like digital and print resources for leaders, Bible studies, tools to help you share your story, prayer calls, and group resources.
“It is humbling to see how God provides through those who share our heart for reaching women everywhere,” says Eliza. Right now there are more women who are open to engaging with Jesus and knowing who He is more than ever, and we feel that we are uniquely equipped to be able to empower them.
Stonecroft is evolving while staying rooted in its core mission. While the ways of engaging with women may change, the essence of Stonecroft’s mission—to pray and proclaim the Gospel will remain unchanged.
Eliza commented that while there may be changes to formats or outreach strategies, the focus on God’s mission and the shared faith of those involved will always remain at the core. Eliza reflects on the importance of remaining adaptable, as Stonecroft’s mission has always been about flexibility and responding to God’s call. She encourages women who may be wondering abo local groups to pray for guid open to new it’s reimagining homes or pivot gathering, the g essentials of th responsive to h
Elaine adds, “We will adapt to meet women where they are, whether through traditional gatherings, digital connections, or new outreach locations like retirement communities.”
Both leaders emphasize the importance of prayer and trust in God’s guidance. They encourage women to explore new opportunities, join relational evangelism efforts, and remain open to God’s direction
“The best years are still ahead,” Eliza affirms. “There is always room for more women to be part of this mission, whether as seasoned leaders or new participants Stonecroft is a place where women can grow, serve, and share God’s love with the world”

Her name was Annie.
She was seated poolside, legs stretched out on the lounge chair, with oversized sunglasses covering most of her face Her long blonde hair pulled forward, falling just right over one shoulder
The laptop she was working on just didn’t fit with the rest of the image. After all, who comes to a pool at a resort in Maui just to work?
It seemed like she was in her own world. If you saw her, you’d think she had it all together, and you might even feel a little intimidated to approach her.
Things aren’t always what they seem. The glasses were really to mask her puffy eyes and the laptop was a shield from having to pretend she was okay when she wasn’t
She didn’t know that she was about to meet a couple who would change her life.
Cindy and Bob were staying at the same resort They came here to vacation, yes, but even more than that, they came here every year on mission They prepared and prayed before every trip.
So, when they stepped on the pool deck that day, they were looking around and inwardly asking God who He had for them to meet that day
Cindy saw Annie, and wondered to herself if she was the one. She didn’t engage her immediately. Instead, she and Bob reclined in the seats beside her and relaxed into vacation mode, soaking up the sun and breeze
A little while later, Annie closed her laptop with a click. Cindy noticed but still didn’t say anything
“I guess I looked a little crazy on my computer out here by the pool,” Annie said to Cindy. “Anything to take my mind off of why I’m here, but then I overheard you two talking and just felt like I was supposed to talk to you ”
She had Cindy’s full attention by now, as Cindy realized that this was the exact connection she was supposed to make that day
Annie continued, “My name is Annie Did I hear that your husband’s name is Bob?”
Cindy was a little puzzled, but she said, “Yes, it is And my name is Cindy ”
“Bob. That’s what I thought I heard. That was also my fiancé's name ”
“I’d love to hear your story, Annie Tell me about Bob.”
Annie went on to tell Cindy about how she’d tragically lost her Bob during their engagement, and how this was supposed to be their honeymoon. Yet here she was, all by herself, wondering how she would cope.
“It'smyhearttoseewomencome toknowJesusChrist. Imean,that'sthethingthatI'veloved aboutStonecroftMinistriesfromdayone.”
-Cindy Bartz
Cindy listened quietly as Annie shared through her tears. “I think God sent me to you to tell you He loves you, and that you aren’t alone. He’s with you in your pain. How are you coping with your loss?” Cindy asked
The conversation went on that afternoon. Cindy silently prayed as she listened, asking God to give her the words and wisdom about how to love Annie well in this moment.
Before they parted ways that day, Cindy asked if she could leave a printed copy of her own personal faith story with Annie Cindy always keeps a few with her for opportunities just like this. Annie was happy to accept it.
They would go on to connect several more times during their vacation Before they returned to their own homes, they began texting
That was seven months ago Cindy and Annie are still talking and texting regularly. Since that day at the pool, Cindy has shared the Gospel with Annie several times. Annie says she’s thinking about what it means
When we share our faith, often we want results to happen quickly but sometimes that’s just not how it works. Sometimes it takes an investment of ourselves in people's lives We make deposits over time, faithfully and consistently loving others because God loved us first
When Cindy talks about the way she is led to share her faith with others, she says that she believes God brings her people that she can connect with uniquely. She says she just trusts God and looks for Him to lead her.
When we partner with God, He is faithful to introduce us to those who need what He will offer through us.
If you were talking with Cindy, you’d find that her story of Annie is one story in a host of many. It seems like she is always in the right place, at the right time, connecting with just the right person God has appointed. How does that happen? Some of it is certainly her unique gifting and personality, but she would tell you it’s way more simple than that.
The difference is the power of preparation. She has developed a pattern that feels natural for her. She says anyone can do what she does and watch God work in amazing ways! Here’s how she does it:
1.) She prays and looks for those God sends to her.
Cindy orders Stonecroft's book Aware before vacationing each time. She reads through the familiar book and marks in it the names of people she wants to check on once they arrive, and she prays with expectancy for new people God will place in their path. She highlights the phrases and reminders that jump out to her
2.) She begins conversations by simply asking, “What’s your story?”
She asks if they can take a picture together. (This both helps her remember and pray for them, and points out to the person that they are significant to her!)
She listens well, asks great questions, and connects her story to theirs when it makes sense.
3.) When she feels prompted by the Holy Spirit, she asks if she can share her faith story with them.
Cindy took the time to write down her own faith story, in her own words She has them on her phone to send via text, and she also printed them out on small cards that she carries with her. She shares whichever one fits the situation best.
4.) Then, she continues to cultivate the relationship, nurturing it along.
She exchanges contact information so that she is able to continue to keep in touch, encouraging them and asking how to pray for them along the way
5.) She prints the picture to remind her to pray and continues to reach out over time.
Seeing their faces keeps the memory of their interaction fresh, and prompts her to send a text or call to check on them, as well as reminding her to pray
Are YOU prepared for what God wants to do through you today?
More than 125,000 women attended an outreach. We saw 11,000 first time guests.
More than 1,100 women said YES to Jesus.

At Stonecroft Ministries, we are driven by a bold vision: to see every woman reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. This is the essence of our Zip Code Strategy that is rooted in radical generosity and unwavering faith.
The call to “Pray, Give, Go” is a practical framework for living out the Great Commission Let me share how you can join this transformative journey and how women across the nation are already answering the call
Pray: The Foundation of the Movement
Prayer is the heartbeat of our mission. Through prayer, we invite God’s guidance and power into our efforts. James 5:16 reminds us, “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” As we pray for every zip code, we ask God to prepare hearts, open doors, and provide opportunities to share His love
You can start by praying for your own zip code. Use a map or a list of neighborhoods to guide your prayers. There is also a wonderful app you can download called The BLESS App that will help you pray for your neighbors by name. Ask God to bring spiritual revival, to strengthen Christian women in the area, and to create opportunities for outreach You might also consider joining a prayer group or starting one in your community. Together, we can cover every corner of the nation with prayer!
Generosity is a tangible way to support the work of the Kingdom. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says, “You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully’” Giving enables the practical work of the ministry, from providing resources to training volunteers and launching new initiatives.
One particular Stonecroft supporter embodies the spirit of radical generosity. She began giving a small monthly amount, thinking it wouldn’t make much of an impact. Over time, she saw how her contributions helped provide Bible study materials, host training sessions, and fund outreach events Inspired by the impact, she decided to give more and encourage others to do the same
Whether it’s a financial gift, donating resources, or offering your time and talents, your generosity fuels the mission. Consider setting up a monthly donation or organizing a fundraiser in your community Every gift no matter thesize makesadifference!

Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:19 is clear: “Go and make disciples of all nations” The Zip Code Strategy invites women to step out in faith and take action within their communities Going might look different for each of us, but it always involves being present, building relationships, and sharing the love of Christ
“Going” doesn’t always mean organizing a big event. It could mean inviting a neighbor for coffee,
volunteering at a local shelter, or mentoring a young woman in her faith journey. The important thing is to be intentional about living out your faith in a waythatdrawsotherstoChrist
Recently our staff shared a story of a woman who carries packaged, freshbaked cookies with her everywhere she goes.ShepraysandasksGodtoshowher who needs encouragement, and then she gives them away, asking if she can pray for the recipient. She is on the go andlookingforGodtomoveeveryday!
The Zip Code Strategy is a movement that thrives on participation Here are some practical steps you can take to join:
1. Identify Your Zip Code
Start by praying for and learning about your zip code. Who lives there? What are the spiritual needs? What opportunities exist for outreach?
2. Pray for Revival
Commit to daily or weekly prayer for your community Partner with others to form a prayer group and pray together through Stonecroft’s monthly prayer guide.
3. Give Generously
Support the mission of Stonecroft financially Consider creative ways to involve others in giving, such as hosting a fundraiser
4. Go with Purpose
Step out in faith to engage with your community Share the Gospel, invite others to Bible studies, or volunteer for local ministries. Be willing to go where God leads, trusting that He will equip you.
Encourage others by sharing how God is working in your zip code. Your testimony can inspire others to join the movement!
At its core, the Zip Code Strategy is a call to radical generosity of time, resources, and faith. It’s about trusting God to do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20) and beingwillingtoplayourpartinHisplan
As women of Stonecroft, we have the privilege and responsibility to participate in this mission Together, we can ensure that every zip code in the United States is touched by the love of Christ Whether you pray, give, go, or do all three, your contribution matters.
Let’s take up the challenge and watch as God works through us to transform lives and communities for His glory. Are you readytojointhemovement?Thejourney startstoday rightwhereyouare!

Vision. A word so simple yet packed with profound meaning. It inspires, motivates, and sometimes overwhelms Many of us wrestle with questions like, What is vision? Why do I need it? Where does it come from?
For me, vision became personal when my family transitioned back to the U.S. after years of living overseas. Determined to plant roots, we bought a home in a small subdivision nestled in the countryside a perfect mix of serenity and community, or so I thought.
At first, I envisioned a warm, welcoming neighborhood. I pictured friendly faces stopping by with cookies, sharing tips for navigating local schools, and offering invitations to church. But days turned into weeks, and the reality was silence No introductions. No knocks at the door.
Despite my attempts to build connections inviting neighbors to Bible studies, driveway barbecues, or even casual conversations during walks nothing seemed to stick. I began to question: What am I missing? Why is this so hard?
That’swhenGodremindedmeofatruthI’d overlooked. When we don’t know what elsetodo,weturntoHim.WePray.
Romans 8:26 reassures us, “...the Spirit helps us in our weakness For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” Inspired by this verse, I started walking the neighborhood, praying for the families living in each house. I asked God to meet their needs, heal their hurts, and draw them closer to Him.
But I longed for a deeper, more intentional way to connect. That’s when I discovered the BLESS App.
The BLESS App has transformed my approach to prayer and evangelism. Designed to foster connection in an increasingly isolated world, it provides an innovative way to engage with my community By leveraging publicly available information, the app generates a personalized prayer list, including names and addresses of up to five neighbors at a time that live near my home.
This feature breathed new life into my prayers. Suddenly, my generic petitions became deeply personal Knowing my neighbors’ names gave me a sense of connection, even before we exchanged words.
The app also incorporates scripturebased prompts, encouraging me to pray God’s Word over my neighbors. For example, I might pray Isaiah 41:10, asking God to strengthen and uphold them in their challenges. The app even suggests practical ways to bless others, helping me turn my prayers into tangible acts of kindness
Living with a Kingdom vision means cultivating a heart for the lost a mindset that often doesn’t come naturally. It requires intentionality, discipline, and daily surrender to God’s call.
Vision is essential, but it must be rooted in God’s Word and His purposes.
-Stacie Villanueva
Pray for Desire: Ask God to give you a passion for reaching others with His love
Dedicate Time: Incorporate prayer for your community into your daily routine, using tools like the BLESS App to guide you
Take Action: Move beyond prayer to engage with those around you. Whether it’s a simple wave, a note of encouragement, or an invitation to a gathering, small steps can make a big impact
Vision for the Kingdom isn’t about grand, unattainable goals. It’s about aligning your heart with God’s through prayer, Scripture, and intentional living Proverbs 29:18, NLT reminds us, “Where there is no vision, the people perish ” Vision is essential, but it must be rooted in God’s Word and His purposes.
The journey to grow your vision for the Kingdom might start with small, simple acts of faithfulness
Whether through prayer walks, personal outreach, or using tools like
the BLESS App, you can make a lasting impact one neighbor, one prayer, one step at a time
So, ask yourself: What vision has God placed on my heart for His Kingdom? And how will I pursue it today?
The best part is that you can start right now! You don’t need a group, a curriculum, or even a detailed plan to begin Simply take the first step As you start this journey, you’ll likely find it too exciting to keep to yourself
Invite a friend to join you in praying for their neighborhood Encourage someone to partner with you in praying for revival among those around you God is already at work and ready to move He will guide you to people whose hearts are open and ready to hear the Gospel message, leading them to give their lives to Jesus
Let’s commit to living intentionally for His glory, growing our vision, and letting God work through us to transform lives.

Lane Henderson is one-of-a-kind Recently she shared that she’s led people through the book, Why Believe?, more than FIFTY times
Fifty
There aren’t many things people are willing to do fifty times, and when they do, it must either be enjoyable or worthy of our time investment
Lane is convinced that people are worth her time.
Combine her conviction with the book she considers one of the best evangelism tools she has used, and you will understand why she has led it repeatedly over the past few years.
She believes in the resource so much that she regularly trains others how to lead it
She’s also taken it to her church, and now every new believer there also goes through the study with a guide
“My husband says he never knows who will be at our dining room table! He’ll come home and a new woman will be there with me, reading and asking questions from the book, or we will be praying together I can tell you what I’ve seen: Everyone who starts this book with an open heart and seeking God has come to know Jesus by the time we finish it.”
Now THAT’S an incredible statement What can we learn from Lane?

It doesn’t matter what has happened in your past No matter what you ’ ve done, no matter what has been done to you, no matter what you regret about how you ’ ve lived your life, God’s plan for your life is greater God understands you –your hopes, your dreams, your frustrations, your loneliness, your heartaches His love caused Him to pursue us, to leave heaven and to come to earth.
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life God sent His son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him” (John 3:16-17)
Jesus Christ paid the penalty for sin when He died on the cross. But He did not stay dead! He came back to life; He rose from the dead And, He is ready to give new life to you
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
How do you begin this new life? Place your trust in Jesus Christ:
Confess Agree with God that none of us is perfect and name some ways you know you ’ ve fallen short
Believe That God’s son dying to set you free is enough! It covers all your wrongs, my wrongs, for all time. We can trust what Jesus did for us
When you trust Jesus Christ, He will live in your life God’s Spirit will live inside you This Holy Spirit will help you live a life that honors Him.
Do you want to begin this new life? You might pray something like this:
Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sin Forgive me I choose to turn away from my sin and live a life that honors you I want to follow you and make you the leader of my life Thank you for your gift of eternal life and for the Holy Spirit who now has come to live in me Amen
The God who made you longs to be in a loving relationship with you. But if you ’ re not yet ready to make this lifechanging choice, we encourage you to continue the spiritual journey you ’ ve begun If you’d like to talk about matters of faith, your leader is available and open to have those conversations with you Beloved, know that God is with you and will never stop pursuing you
