Downtown Orlando’s Largest Multifamily Tower Nearing Completion
Society Orlando, a mixed-use residential and commercial complex, is expected to open in the fall of 2023. The high-rise tower will be the largest multifamily development in downtown Orlando, with 484 residential units (220 more units in phase 2), and approximately 32,000 square feet of commercial space. The first phase will be 26-stories partnered with a 17-story tower in phase 2. Building amenities include a jumbo pool overlooking the city, a communal dining hall, a fitness center, and entertainment lounges. One major tenant, Velocity Esports, will open a huge arcade, entertainment center, and restaurant on the ground floor.
33-Story Marriot Hotel/Condo Building to Start Construction in 2024



A JW Marriot-branded hotel and condominium project steps from Lake Eola plans to start construction in the third quarter of 2024. If all goes according to plan, this will be the first major condo development in downtown Orlando within the last decade. The project will include 228 hotel rooms, 129 condos, two restaurants, and a conference center. According to CoStar Group, there are 3,522 new hotel rooms under construction in Orlando, the highest in the state.
