Our offer for schools 2026/27
We have a range of options that schools can choose from to help them build the right package for different needs and a variety of budgets.
Our PPA package includes:
• Schools can build their own bespoke package that could include morning, afternoon or full day delivery that could run over a half term, full term or full academic year
• Trust staff will conduct full planning, delivery and assessment (if required) all aligned to the PE National Curriculum
• Teachers will be provided with lesson plans and progressive schemes of work across KS1 & KS2
• Teachers can choose from a range of activities including fitness, movement, games, invasion sports and athletics modules
• Termly reporting provided to support SLT monitoring
• Cross curricular and wet weather learning activities provided
• A focus on resilience, active learning and confidence building
• Continuity of staffing to ensure that wherever possible the same member of Trust staff will deliver your sessions to help staff and pupils build professional and positive relationships
Extra Curricular Options
Schools that book a PPA package with Stockport County Community Trust can also add on any of the following options.
• Breakfast clubs to energise pupils at the start of the day

Additional Opportunities
By choosing to work with Stockport County Community Trust through our PPA programme, your school automatically gains full access to an exciting range of additional opportunities designed to enrich pupil experience and strengthen whole school provision. These could include;
School assembly
Schools can book one of our popular school assemblies for Key Stage Two pupils featuring Club mascot, Vernon Bear, which also includes up to 50 complimentary match day tickets.
Visit to Edgeley Park
Bring your pupils for a behind the scenes educational visit that links to careers and a range of curriculum subjects.
Player visit
Each school that books a minimum of PPA over one term can access a visit from one of Stockport County’s first team squad.
Club mascot (Vernon Bear)
Schools can also organise a visit from Club mascot, Vernon Bear.
Chance to take part in tournaments and festivals
All schools that book a minimum of one term’s PPA will be invited to take part in a Stockport County tournament which often gives schools the chance to win the opportunity to represent Stockport County at a further regional or national event.
The opportunity to access matchday tickets
Schools can access the opportunity for match day tickets either at a reduced rate or free of charge for specific games.
Fundraising Support for Schools
The Club can support your school with your own fundraising efforts by providing raffle prizes including a signed football and a pair of match tickets.
These opportunities not only complement your PE curriculum but also help to build confidence, resilience, aspiration and a powerful sense of community pride throughout your school that is unique to a professional football club.

SEND Provision
Stockport County Community Trust is delighted to also offer high quality PE and physical activity sessions tailored for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our qualified and experienced coaches deliver inclusive football and multi-sport lessons that ensure every pupil enjoys a positive and engaging experience to help everyone stay active.
In addition to curriculum sessions, we also provide extra curricular opportunities specifically for pupils with SEND including entry into our Trust SEND festivals and competitions, including the chance to represent Stockport County FC against other SEND teams linked to professional clubs. All of which helps pupils connect, participate and celebrate their abilities in an inclusive environment.
Premier League Primary Stars Programme
Our Premier League Primary Stars (PLPS) programme uses the appeal of football to inspire learning across PE, PSHE, literacy and numeracy.
Schools working with us can access support, provided in partnership with the Premier League offering added value without additional cost. The programme helps pupils develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and positive attitudes to learning.
